Freezing a reheating homemade chicken nuggets...?

Have made some homemade chicken nuggets this evening, but made too many for us finish today. Can I freeze them now they have been cooked? If so, when I come to serve them up again can I cook them from frozen (a la shop bought nuggets) or should I thaw then out first before cooking them through...?

Freeze them, leave plenty of time to defrost and I would cover them when reheating so they don't burn.
