oh, and, does anyone think white walls, with white tiles, a kind of peachy coloured suite and laminate flooring would be too clinical?

I have all silver accessories to put up when I figure out if I can drill into the grout, just daren't do it in case I break it!

So I can use my oh's bus ticket to get into town & get some when he gets back [pretty please] grin

I'm sure somewhere like Homebase would do it?

I think Lakeland do something.

Thick bleach on a toothbrush works wonders

I bought something years ago in a DIY shop. It was rather like white acrylic paint, paint it over the grouting, let it dry, then rub it off. It comes off the tiles and sticks to the grout.

I'm sure you can still get it.

Make sure the room is properly ventilated before you start! Good luck

was it expensive NoBiggy? Just in case bleach doesn't do the job

Bicarb of soda (this is the third time I've recommended this wonderstuff in 5 minutes! I should get shares...). Make a paste, slap it on the grout, leave for 1 hour then scrub away.

MrsMerryHenry Thu 08-Jan-09 13:52:41

That's the more eco-friendly option! grin

lucysmam Thu 08-Jan-09 13:53:26

lol, you should if you'r recommending it that often. I'll try that on the other half I haven't bleached yet. Thanks MMH

Anytime. It's cheap as chips, too. Or perhaps even cheaper!
