Hi Mad,Sag and Avon!

for those battered and bruised from the ice, it has been treacherous!

DD off nursery again as has been wheezing all night . DS seems ok.

Hope the poorly LOs make their nativities (esp the little Marys, you can't have a Nativity without a Mary LOL).

To do:
look after poorly DD.
Buy brown paper to post presents.
Turn up DS school trousers.

Poor you, hideous having cricked neck.
TMH, you asked yesterday what I do, I'm a library helper, in primary school, and we do 'library activities' like researching topics with the children, stories, poetry reading, projects. And lots and lots of book tidying and crowd control. This week all helpers seem to be ill, so covering everyone else's slots. Today we did 'mountain stories' everything from teaplantations, to Heidi, to Moses. Quite fun.

Done
School work
Breakfast dishes in sink
Table wiped
Milk in
Lunch eaten (leftovers)
Sat lunch rearranged to tea

Mission
Cannot part with single cookbook, especially ones I have not yet cooked from.
wiping Mission looks possible.

To Do
Buy skirt and warm coat for weekend party
Buy some provisions for weekend

Hi all
TMH hope your head feels better.. I hate having a cricked neck..

Hi Swan, Saggy, Scatty & Anne.

Quiet on here today.

just back from toddler group christmas party..
all went well, kids loved their toys and party food and we were cleared up by the time the mothers union came in for their Christmas Lunch.

Been making some big decisions about stuff this last couple of days.. I need to spend more time with people who make me feel good and less time with the people who don't.

New years resolutions are being formed in the greyskull house

hello all
You all seem very down today and ill. DH in bed with a migraine - his virus seems better though. He managed to get up for an hour for DS's Xmas concert at nursery. It was gorgeous!

My throat is still very sore, but I seem to have adjusted to never swallowing unless eating or drinking. Have been doing lots of eating in comfort lately! Ears still hurting too. Fed up of being ill - it's two weeks today since I got a sore throat!

Dd is asleep, her eyes are clearing up but she is still coughing loads and not better yet .

Not done a lot today, took back the 'Doodle Drawers' I bought for dd and ds for Xmas as they were broken (just those tall plastic drawers, to be filled with crafty stuff) and got them swapped. Need to pop out later too if DH ever gets up. Of course, when I get a migraine (quite often) I still have to look after the children all day! lol.

To do
Clear up kitchen
wash up lunch stuff
make tomato soup for tea
pop to the shops
vac around
tidy up downstairs
washing is outside
sweep floor
make mince pies with ds and jam tarts with dd when she gets up

I agree mad we need a bit of TLC .

Is anyone else finding their (probably school age) children hugely excited about Xmas already and not really able to settle to anythig? DS is driving me nuts, he is hyper atm .

Done:
played with dd
washed BR floor
bought milk and brown paper for posting
sorted some of ds toys

Not quite done:
turn up ds trousers
wrap presents to post
confirm dh plans for next few days - he appears to be having a life of his own atm (how very dare he!)

BBL.

Hello All

3rd morning of oversleeping today . Thank Kelly for the bedtime routine that means that everything is ready for the off before I go to bed At least it looks like I have some degree of organisation

Basically as I've been out all day (hospital and xmas lunch) so I turned everything round in the 21/2 hours after getting Ed home from school. Bit shatterring but we are fed and in pjs now waiting for DH.

Extinguished a hotspot in the bedroom courtesy of the Woolies sell off. The bursting nightclothes bag has been replaced with a smart wicker basket so there's no stuff tracking out across the bedroom floor now I also got a 3 man tent for £5.60...well you never know when one will come in handy

Finished the last of the Xmas shopping this aft too. It is official, I have overspent but...ahh, stuff it it's under £50

Right, Ed needs to do some homework so I'll see you tomorrow. Have great evenings.
