i have a pair of jeans that i got 2nd hand from my sis about 3 1/2 years ago, theyre looking really dull and grubby now but theyre such a good fit and so comfortable and money really is tight at the minute, so does anyone know if theres anything i can do to give them a new lease of life? i do get a lot of wear out of them.

COUld you dye them? You get dye specifically for jeans I think.

A long time ago I dyed a pair of pale denim jeans black with normal dylon dye and they were a big success. I've tried soaking mine overnight with vanish stain remover which has made them a lot better but probably wouldn't rescue very old ones.
