Morning all

We should have shined our sink last night and be dressed at the PC this morning. If not, please can we do this first

babystep 3 We are keeping our sink shining all day - if possible and then also read someting on the fly website

write things down FLylady does this on postits, but I use a pad. Do it what ever way is best for you.

So nice and easy start and the beauty of fly is you can just step in at anytime. It may seem as though the babysteps are a bit ppointless, but they are there to develop a routine and soon you will be doing all this stuff automatically.

May I join in? I have done this before but it's gone by the wayside.

My sink is shiny and I am dressed, although my shoes are not on.

roffle at trinity You did say on the other thread early this morning that you were getting a drink, coffee was it

Right, am dressed, dc are at school, am just having breakfast (can't eat early in the morning) and then I will do the breakfast dishes and shine the sink.
And make a phonecall I have been putting off, and put a load of washing on. And then head off to work for a few hours.

Morning all.

Right, is everyone dressed? If not go do it as it will be midday soon.

I've been out all morning but plan to go shine my sink in a minute when I've eaten lunch.

Trinity - we know each other but under a diff name.

TMH babysteps thread fab idea, was on one when I started FLYing last year was really supportive. Hopefully going back to babysteps will get me back on track.
Trinity and Flowery weren't you on the babysteps thread with me?
DD had hospital at 9am today followed by toddlers, sink therefore got shined after lunch.
I'm off for inspiration from FLYlady and to wake ds up from his nap.

How's everyone getting on? Make sure that sometime tonight you clear away after dinner (d/w or sink) and that you shine that sink

Report
hippipotami · 13/11/2008 19:48

Good point Madhouse Luckily (for me anyway) the local secondary has quite a strict uniform policy and most kids looked very presentable
I wore my jeans for the first time to invigilating and felt underdressed - back to my trusted black trousers tomorrow

Dinner is done, have done the washing up, dried and put away. worktops and hob wiped, sink is clean and dry. (it is a composite granite so will never be shiny really, will it )

Will put clothes out for tomorrow before bed.
It is Mufti Day for the dc tomorrow and if I don't put their clothes out they may just pull on uniform on auto-pilot

How is everyone else getting on?

I still have a load of washing sitting in the machine waiting to be hung on the airer - will do that in a mo.
Floors and rest of house still a state, but we are doing babysteps after all

Hope everyone is doing well.

Oooh Flowery, I'm sooo glad you're on here, it's so nice to know I'm not the only one who has fallen off the wagon from the last thread!

OK, clothes were out this morning.

I'm going to shine the sink before I go to bed.

I might do the post-its just to remind everyone else in the house what they are meant to do.
