I put the foam one in the washing machine but can I do that with this?

I think you are stuffed on that one. Doubt you can get the smell out of feather

I think dry cleaners can remove the feathers, clean them and resew into a fresh new cover

I wash feather pillows. It says you can on the washing instructions on mine. Just make sure that you dry it really well.

I've also washed them and just echo they take ages to dry and smell a bit funny whilst they're drying.

New pillow, cheap feather ones at Musbury Fabrics. good quality! I've tried washing feather duvets but had to hang them on the line on a hot sunny day, that worked! Good luck!

I have trouble drying them, how do you do that? Tumble dryer?

They always stink even when dry, if they are left to do it naturally.

Some of ours had milk on, some just washed to freshen them and they stank all the same!

Something odd about feathers!

Sounds like it is worth a go but maybe not expect too much....

Wash in the machine
Tumble dry on hot 2-3 times until absolutely dry.
The funny smell will go once it's dry and cold again.
