Well top on my list is to carve the pumpkins today. The kids have been pestering me all morning.

I've got various house cleaning things to do, make biscuits/cakes/jelly ready for tomorrow.

The kids persuaded me to put some of the decorations up last night...so I don't have too much to do today. Have to go and clean the nursery at some point as well.

Hope you are all well this morning

Hello

We are having a lazy day today, although ds is pestering me to go and call for a friend who lives up the road...not sure I can face it though, I feel like sitting on the sofa all day. Not sure what's wrong with me but I have no motivation to do anything.

Morning all
Well I'm trying to sort out my laptop and good old MN has been very helpful (my first port of call these days!)

Am trying to decide whether to pick up dh's dry cleaning (4 miles on the bus in one direction) or take ds for a haircut (6 miles in the other direction) Ideally we should do both

Morning All

Hve a big long list to do today. I really dont know where to start. Every room needs a good tidy/clean and my routines etc arent even touching it really .
Im going for a walk to the shop first to get bananas for muffins ( your receipe I think Madhouse) and then I can escape it for a while.
I think I'll do the 15mins in each room thing and then when I come to the end start again. Wish me luck !

Good Luck Cafe!!

I have done minimal flying this week (even less than usual).

To Do
pumpkins (snap Luda)
shops
laundry
maybe aquarium .

Oh and I have dyed my hair! For the first time in 38 yrs I am no longer blonde. I am having trouble keeping up with my increasingly dark roots so decided to dye back to its natural colour. Trouble is I don't really know what my natural colour is . I opted for a light brown, which has turned out a bit red . Might have to rethink .

Morning all

Cafe your idea sounds like the best plan. I did that yesterday and managed to catch up on stuff to a certain respectable level.

Luda, Hello Spotted your post yesterday, but had no time to reply. LOL Yes I am newish and no not a name changer .
I think I introduced myself on Monday/ Tuesday/?? been flyint ( or trying) for a couple of weeks now, and just thought it was time I came out and introduced myself...

Scatty LOL and at my lack of bulb knowledge yesterday. You must think I am a bit pots asking, but don't worry I didn't put them under the bed.. (still in packet though. That's a job for today )

Done most morning stuff today.

On top of normal tidying and dusting around INeed to;

get swim stuff ready and take dd to swim lesson ( first check they aren't cancelled for half term, and shave underarms which I forgot last night)

Clear out Office, and file any important looking stuff.

Cancel standing order with bank that I forgot to do on Tuesday

and the worst Ironing

Oooh and plant a selection of spring bulbs under my bed in flower bed

Happy day everyone. Sun is shining

Speak later

Afternoon all

Have made no progress whatsoever with my flying today. Went to the shop to escape the tip and ended up collecting the fallen leaves on the the way home with DS. We have just finished sticking them to paper in the shape of a pumpkin with cut out eyes, nose and mouth! Its now hanging from the kitchen wall! Have done not much else..thats the trouble you see, I dont do entertaining the DC's and flying at the same time. Its always one or the other.
I'll now tidy the kitchen a bit before we make the muffins, DS has offered to help with the tidying .

cafebistro I'm the same, would rather do stuff with dcs or go out than fly. I am doing even less this week than normal (and normally I'm at work). That picture sounds good (I might nick that idea ).

Done:
pumpkin
shops
reboot laundry

To do:
take dvd back
collect car (hopefully)
order present for dad
check out times for James Bond (lovely friend going to babysit so dh and I can go to pictures )

Hi All

I can not fly and do things with the children. I have to schedule play time in.

We have just made some bread rolls (left them rising whilst we went out (glad we went this morning as it is pissing down) and also got some peanut crunch cookies cooking. Dead easy receipe and so good for the children.

4oz of light brown sugar
4oz of butter
1 egg
4oz of peanut butter
half teaspoon baking powder
5oz of self raising flour
rice crispys

cream sugar and butter - add egg
add peanut butter, flour and baking powder.

Take heaped teaspoon og dought, roll into a ball and then flaten on rice crispys (coating them all over).

Makes about 20

Cook for 20 at 180

I am waiting for them to finish cooking and cool a bit so we can take some to nanas (EMIL) boys want to see her not me

Then we had a blustery walk.
Niether of the friends the kids were supposed to be seeing this afternoon have been able to come round so ds is currently on the PS1 and dd is enjoying a long warm bath all to herself
