I am delighted and so gutted tha i have to wait 16 long hours!

Any tips before it disappears under someones bed!

They are very good. Especially the little arm that comes out when you get to a corner. Look at this page

The only problem in our house is the amount of cobwebs there are now. I haven't had the normal vacuum cleaner out for months and Roomy hasn't yet learnt how to climb walls...

One tip - don't leave anything dangling on the floor - blind cords, PE bag strings etc. they'll get chewed up and take a while to untangle

Should not the roomba tell you when it is charged? I think my first generation one has a light from red to green.
