Morning

DP is back at the site he likes, and none of his tools were pinched, so he is happy.

I'm cold and tired, and need to wake the dds. DD1 left me a note saying she feels ill, but when I got it last night she was asleep I'll see how she is when she wakes up.

My 2nd load of washing for the day is finished, better go and hang it out. Hope everyone had a good night....BBL

Morning Everyone

Jas Thanks for the thread and links.

Had a lovely day yesterday. DP had a day off so we took DS swimming and then to the Aquarium.

Not much flying will be done today as DP has another day off.
Going food shopping and then not really sure...

Hope everyone has a lovely day!

Must go and make breakfast..

Jas, cafebistro good morning

everyone else hiya!

Hope you're all well?

Mad how is your DS?, not still ill I hope!
Jas good news about the tools
cafebistro sorry about the delay with swim nappies, oh is expecting a cheque today (will believe it when I see it!) so will post them either today when he cashes it or tomorrow when I get paid

Have not a lot planned for today as the past couple of days have been a complete nightmare so am just pottering around finishing off Mad's list & seeing what gets done as the house is a shit tip with stuff all over. At least it all belongs somewhere now though!

TD is on and washing up water run, just waiting on lo's brekky pots then will sort them and s&s the kitchen.

I have 2 kids today as J's parents were desperate & his dad packed his bag. The difference when he does it instead of J's mum is unreal! He has eaten brekky at home & has his dinner, a treat for both kids and something to eat after school too! Was a nice change to having the piss taken

Morning all

I have sick covered bedding in the washer again and am about to hang a load on the line to see if it will dry (sunny, but cold)

I have got to get to Aldi today - so will be taking them both with me.

Ruby I understand about the elder thing, I really miss my dad the most when I want to talk to him about the boys and get his advice. Worrying about them shows that you care

Ruby You arent doing anything wrong. Your children are just being children and because you are a bit down you're taking they're attitudes personally. Normally you would shake it off.

If you think the kids are doing too many after school clubs then they probably are. How many does each one do? And how frequently.

Tiredness and hunger are the main sources of irritability in this house. So as long as you are feeding them then tiredness is probably the root of it all.

If DH is in sunny spain that wont help either but he'll be back soon wont he. When he comes back take a day off. I know you miss your mum and iirc then as winter comes it often gets harder. You're doing a great job, honestly!

Email me if you want to chat. I can give you my phone number if you like.....my kindred spirit.

Hi all.

ruby Don't underestimate how much harder it is when dh away, you are trying to be both parents and have no support (or adult company) for you. Dress is lovely .

Well thanks to you guys, DCs went to bed really well last night, all done and dusted by 7.50 .

Today:
laundry
library
fridge
DS reading

ruby you are a godess never forget that, you are always there when I need a kick/shove/hug/whatever so let me be there in return. Sounded scary for DH to say the least. I would be apopletic, not being a confident flyer. Plus DH not being about is a big drag, just knowing that you're doing things alone, even when you feel like do it anyway is a big help

TMH Glad the consultant has given some positive solutions for your surgery.

Everybody else Hello

I've just grabbed lunch. I've been out getting shelves cut for the porch then putting them in place and tidying up. Just need an outdoor storage box for Ed's outdoor toys and the gardening supplies and the whole thing will be sorted (yay)

May be going swimming tonight, may not as DH says Ed is a 'tad husky'. Thing is, his swimming is comming on great and I don't want to break the progress he's made.

Got too many shelves but if I hadn't over estimated I wouldn't have had enough. Hey! I never signed up to be a quantity surveyor did I?

Afternoon everyone!

List is completed! Finally.

Rest of house . . . . . still a shit tip but I'll organise downstairs whilst oh is at footy tonight & upstairs in the morning when he pops out for job interview round the corner.

He's still not received his cheque . . . .grrrrrrrr!!!

Ruby the dress is lovely, I am a big fan of the wraparound dress, they're so easy and comfy to wear. Not a bad price either, so am going to leave the page up so oh sees it
Mad is your ds still no better
tigger it's amazing the wonders an organised list help create isn't it!

We're just waiting for J's mum to pick him up and then bath for the lo as my shoulders are very sore so oh doing it for me & then tea and bed time.

Suppose I ought to get my ass off MN really and sort my shopping list into some sort of order so I can read what I need to pick up tomorrow rather than just being scribbles that even I can't read But I can't be arsed right now. So am going to finish my cuppa and chill until the lo is out of the bath I think

Will bbl maybe depending what I actually do this evening

TMH The porch is looking good. Slowly but surely we will get there. Then I can have a porch warming party!

Well Planning to go swimming but as his thumb is in his mouth and he's lolling on my arm I think it maybe a non starter Hope he gets a 2nd wind.

I've been hunting for 2 shelf supports for the spur system. I know we have them but where they are is a mystery

Ruby - Dress is gorgeous . Didnt realise DH was away for so long. It is hard work isnt it. Mine is working late 2-3 nights a week and that is knackering.

Tue - Thu is not unreasonable for after school clubs assuming that all 3 kids arent all doing the same club? Do some go and watch? If they are all doing a club for 3 of the 5 school nights that might be a bit too much.

Everyone else - you are all doing very well. I managed to plant about 50 daffodil bulbs today so am quite pleased. Garden will be very yellow in spring. Have DD1s forst harvest festival tomorrow!

Hi all

Sorry I haven't read through but hope all are well.

Our house is completely topsy turvy ATM! Computer is now upstairs (I've snuck up here while the others are eating supper)

I FINALLY! have a washing machine!!!!!! Saw one on feecycle and thought....right...that'll do until the new one arrives (2 weeks away yet!)
I have PILES and PILES of washing to do and HAVE to get some stuff washed before going away on Monday! Just think of all the washing that I'll have to do when we get back too!!!!!!
Its brilliant! On its second load already I'm sooooooooo relieved....I'm even contemplating cancelling the new one. I have no idea why I didn't think of Freecycle earlier.

I'm just off out to take the kids to youth club, then back home to get ready for AquaFit this evening.

Right better go...they sound nearly done down there.

Ah EV You have reminded me what I need to do - plant the bulbs - Thank you

Ruby I wish we were closer adn that I could give you some practical assistance

Lucys Ds2 has not been sick for a while, although he has just come and told me his tummy is hurting

I have been to the post office

Also popped round for a cuppa to friend that broke her back last year and it has confirmed that I have made the right decision regarding the operation with the lesser recovery time, as she was so upset that she couldnt do things with her DS2 (Who was the same age as DS2 will be)

To DO

Bath Boys
PJ's
Clothes out for tomorrow
Feed all
Ironing and put away
More e-bay listing
