Morning

I am busier than ever at the moment with a full time job to try to work around teh family etc - not proving very easy. I work all morning from home/a local office. Then head into our shop to do various things there, run errands to PO etc. Come back, collect the kids and deal with them/supper/bedtime, then have to process various other bits through the computer which at the moment takes me till 8/9 pm (I hope to get better/faster at the eve stuff as time goes on though!)
Thank goodness for all the routines I learnt on here!

Haven't really caught up but did spot poor old Luda with the wm !!! Great new about teh holiday though Luda Where will you go? (sorry if you said already..)

Better go and get the kids up and ready.

Hope to drop back later. I am in over lunchtime waiting for my first ever online grocery shop to arrive

Morning all and theanks for the thread Bianca

You are sounding like another FLYsuccess story atm, along with Simply

DP has left for work
I've gto school run, and 1 hr at my friends house, then off to the market to get my watch looked at, buy bread and milk, then home to housework.

I'm quite looking forward to having the place to myself this afternoon.

Morning all. Morning routine all done except for getting kids dressed. Need to do that and be out by 8.30. Then have school run/work/swimming with DD2/back home/school run to do today so not sure I'll be on here much.

Woohoo! Dh has found some work then Jas? that's great news!

I've missed Simply being on she's obviously getting on well though Well done Simply

Kids are playing up It can take over 45 mins for them to eat their breakfasts in the mornings [frustrated aggh] We just don't have 45mins for leisurely breakfasts during the week!

Bianca morning are you enjoying running the business? Kids J takes forever with brekky as well

Well I'm not happy this morning as my oh has still not been paid so has given himself lie in . Good news is that I have an extra £65 or so in the bank though so going to treat us to a nice bottle of wine for with tea tonight & me to a few bits for the kitchen or xmas cake decorating

BBL with a list of stuff I need really have to do today. Have a good morning all xx

Bianca Well done for doing all that you are. Remeber to take it easy and still have 5 mins to yourself

Lucy Sorry DP not been paid yet

Luda Good news on the holiday

We are all full of cold and the nights are not getting any easier at the moment.

It is raining too

Anyway off to toddlers this am

I'm back, kids are munching brekky so could be a while

I am going to kill my oh!!!! He's meant to be biking to work to find out why he's still not been paid this morning, but is still in bed He's meant to be seeing a bloke he worked with there ages ago as well about being taken on by the company rather than being agency staff

Very frustrating that he's still in bed because of another dodgy night with the lo. If only we all had that luxury hey ladies?

My list for today is small but has to be done:
my coat in wm
finish decluttering living room drawers
declutter under sink in kitchen again because I spied oh stashing stuff that doesn't liv there last night
nets down & in wm
shop for a couple of bits
pay n-power & wm payment
PAPERWORK for council/oh's driving test/tax credits details to change

But first, and most importantly . . . . . GET OH TO SHIFT HIS BACKSIDE OUT OF BED!!!!!!

Morning all

Hi Bianca you sound as though you are doing great at this full time work milarky, good on you

Jas Glad OH has some work. I know the pressures of having a partner who is SE....can be very stressful. So glad to hear your friend is doing ok.

Mad Awwwww sleepless nights really are the worst Hopefully these colds will clear up soon and all the madhouse can get some peaceful nights sleep.

lucy's Bottle of wine sounds great! I might just do that too.

EV sounds as though you have a busy day ahead....enjoy the swim.

Morning to saga

Well we are all topsy turvy this morning. Kids are still at home. DS's eyes seem much better but DD1's are still sticky.
It is absolutely tipping it down today.
House is a pig sty! Kitchen is a total right off. All the contents of the sink cupboard are spread to the wind and dishes are piled high!

The holiday is to a Haven Park in North Wales. We are going for a week
it was a last minute thing, but I'm glad we did it. Was very cheap too. All 5 of us, including Entertainment Passes for under £80!
(The bloody washing machine cost us more )

TheMadHouse · 30/09/2008 09:05

Luda Enjoy the holiday - when do you go?

EV Enjoy the swimming - it will be our turn tomorrow - if the boys shift the colds enough to go that is.

I have the washer on and the morning routine done.

I am going to have to resort to the TD though - oh well at least we are still managing with no heating

Morning Everyone

Done-

DC's dressed and fed
Unload d/w
Reload d/w
Load w/m
Tidied kitchen and wiped surfaces
Meat defrosting for tea

To Do-

Ironing
Declutter some more bedroom
Declutter one shelf on bookcase ( im going to do one a day i think)
Sort wet washing
Quick hoover

Spend some time with DS. Painting? Glueing?

Started to write my christmas present list last night (Thanks Ruby!)
I am at a loss at what to get DD. She will be 10 months then. Most of the things she has are DS's old toys cause he had loads. It would be nice to get her something that is just hers though. I know she's just a baby but...Do you think she'll be too young for a doll? Any ideas anyone.
DS is easier...anything crafty, stickers, feltips, colouring books etc. Also has anyone's LO's got/had a Leap Pad thingy? Are they any good?

Sorry for 20 questions!

BBL.

Morning all.
Loads to do!
click hereto get Breast cancer free mammogramms.I know another FLYer recently linked to it too. Lets get to their target!

Any ideas how i can calm DS1's moods? I don't think it can all be down to his age can it? Had enough of him this morning! I even muttered (under my breath so he didn't hear)F off as he left this morn. He wound me up so much. And he threw his school book across the room because i asked him to put it away. Where has my little boy gone?

BBL. Need to tidy and hoover before picking DD2 back up from school.

Tortoise that you're having problems with DS1. My DS is so difficult sometimes and he's only 3, what will he be like when he's older. I have to admit at times Ive also muttered things under my breath at him and then i feel really guilty about later and think FFs he's only 3! Everyone has bad days..{HUGS}

tortoise · 30/09/2008 10:26

luda we went to haven with lo last year, it peed it down the whole week so everyone (except us in our shorts and tee shirts) was miserable and looked like it was winter. But the holiday was fab, we had a great time. When are you off? I think you deserve a bottle of wine after the stress of the wm and the kids being off school

cafebistro my lo had a dolly that her nanna got her at that age. She's only just started to properly understand it but would sit and play with it a bit. I personally think all little girls should have a dolly, I used to play with mine for ages (even at 13 )

I am bored, done most of my list & oh has finally gone to work to see what the crack is with not bein paid. Going to have a play on MN, potter round a bit and make a cuppa I think. Can't decide whether to risk td-ing my coat, its only a cheapy Primark reduced one but I quite like it & don't want to ruin it as it's the only decent coat I have any more

Anyways, off to put kettle on. BBL xx

Helooooo everyone,

Am a bit stressed out with work, diet, exercize and LO's tantrums at mo. So not been on MN as much, which might be a good thing? I dunno! Anyway, my house is clean and I am really enjoying flying so not about to give up so easily!

Been to the gym and step class. Got to get DD from playschool and then got dentist for round 3 of root canal treatment. I am quite brave these days, so it doesnt bother me! Then home to catch up on some work.

See yall later.

Luda You will have fun at Haven. I am trying to get a break at haven for us in the Oct half term. Nothing under £400 that week at the moment though .

Ohhhh, just got my first online food shop delieverd Very nice indeed - can't think why I haven't done it sooner really but finally a 20% off voucher tempted me I have spent about £20 less than usual just by not being tempted to all the little extras I usually see around the store.

Tort sorry ds1 is giving you worries atm. Maybe it's just the start of a new school etc?
Luda hope the dcs get better soon Holiday sounds fab!

Right...better get on. More orders to download from the web then off to the shop to sort stuff there.
Ds has been invited to play with a friend after school which is a great help as I now don't need to be back from work till 4 as dd has after-school club.

Just back from errand running. I've spoken to dp and work may be for today only....still one day is better than none.

cafe baby dolls are ok. dd1 was never interested, but dd2 still plays with her dolls.

I was intendidng to do a long post to everyone, but I'm too distractable

I'm going to do 15 mins in each room this aftenoon, for as long as I can. Both dds have clubs, so no school run til 4.
