Milton. Which is bleach I think, but is at least edible.

Well obviously not actually a food substance, but is safe!

Put them in a pillow case and chuck them in the washing machine, stop the spin tho!

thank god! it happens to other people's toys too - I thought it was just me and my bad housekeeping.

its gross! Ds has started complaining there are 'bits' in the bath i.e the black bits coming off the toys! Which really grossed me out last night so decided i better do something! I cant afford to replace all the toys and he is quite attached to them!

I was thinking of sticking mine in the dishwasher. Is that a bad idea?

hmm didnt think of that! Maybe youd have to do it on lowest temp setting as d/washers can be quite hot and the toys may melt?

that's what I thought + I was worried that the bath toys may "contaminated" the dishwasher.

Ihave found that soaking in bleach/milton is the only way to get rid of all of it. It comes back though. I am just about to throw away some of DS squirty toys as he doesn't play with them that much but I am always having to wash them.

I use Milton. It's grim isn't it?

I soaked in milton and filled and squirted until they weren't squiting black gunk out.

Make sure that they are emptied after each bath time.

Soak in Milton and then throw in dishwasher. If really concerned about contaminating dishwasher, run it thru a cycle empty.
