Good Morning Mad & everyone who comes later!

How is everyone today?

Mad sorry to hear your DS1 has a nasty cough, hope he feels better soon.

I've had a fairly bad night's sleep, after me and oh had a lovely evening the lo decided she was getting up at 11pm!!! N she didn't go back to sleep until about 4am

Oh has just set off for some confrence thingumy in Manchester that work have asked him to represent them at & we're just finishing off brekky & other morning stuff before getting ready for town.

Probably not do a lot of flying this morning as I have an appointment at half 11 but have to go get some bits in town beforehand and then off to see nanna n grandad since it's FIL's only day off this week

Right, bestget pots washed n my bag packed for the day, bbl with an afternoon list xx

Good Morning Everyone
Thanks for the thread Madhouse

Been up since 5.30am DS decided he wanted to be up watching Cbeebies! I tried to tell him that it wasnt on but it didnt work .
So Ive now got a day of a tired and grumpy boy to look forward to! DD is full of a cold with streaming nose and eyes and just sits there as good as gold and doesnt complain at all. Bless her, its the first time she's been poorly.

To Do-

Get DS washed and dressed
Load d/w
W/m on
Sort out wet clothes..looks like its gonna be a dry but cold day so I think I'll risk hanging them out
Make beds
Ironing
Yesterdays mission
Look at todays mission

Going food shopping later with my list...that I will not deviate from no matter how good the offer ...hopefully I'll save some money as ive done my meal planning!

Everyone have a good day

spend some time doing puzzels with ds2
ironing
mission
write shopping list/meal planner
Hope everyone has a good day

cafebistro you can deviate slightly if it's something you'd normally use that's on offer! The point is just to stick to the list so you don't buy a whole load of random food you can' do much with but if something's on offer bogof or 3for2 r something like that, that you'd use then get it while it's on offer. I do

tigger weekend away . . .

I am bored now! Everything's done that needed to be done this mornong n I don't want to be in town too early as we'll get bored wandering aimlessly n I'm desperately trying not to spend my last £10 on anything in case I need something between now and Friday

I've just watched my lo climb into buggy, turn herself around to sit down n strap herself in!! erm, how comes I didn't know she could do that!!??!!??

anyways, off to fin something to entertain us for half an hour or so. Maybe some shape sorting or putting the train back together . . . . . . .

Hi again

Lucysmam I know what you mean with the offers. I always get 2 for 1 wipes etc and cheaper nappies if I get 2 big packs, expensive at the time but works out much cheaper. Our problem is that we buy things because they're on offer whether we need them or not so it's safer just to stick to then list IYKWIM.

Done-

Everyone dressed and fed
loaded d/w
w/m on
clothes on the line
made beds
shopping list finished

To Do-

Ironing
Missions
Laundry
Hoover round

Morning All

Sorry to hijack yesterday's thread but I also cannot drive. I had lessons before Ed and I didn't click with it Now I'm too scared of other rubbish drivers and going to the expense of learning to drive to have my illness come up and wreak it. Ho hum, as my DGGM said, you never miss what you've never had.

Having a difficult morning. I'm sick of being the only one in this house who can/can be bothered to do the little bits. I seem to be the only one who can get up and get things sorted. I feel lousy, having an visit from AF from hell. I'm exhausted and I just need to whinge really

Thanks. sorry

OK. DONE

Up, shower
Down with crockery
Start making porridge
Empty DW
Put away
serve porridge
SS work surfaces
Clean Hob
Argue with Ed to get him washed
Leave him to dress
Empty WM
Sort to dry
Take him to school
Home
Hang washing to dry
S&S bathroom
S&S loo

To Do

Make cookies and treats
Lunch
Tidy kitchen
Do job apps
Collect Ed
Make tea
Do readings and spellings

But I'm going to have a rest now

Hello TMH,lucysmam, cafe, grouchy,EVandeveryone Sounds like most people had bad nights/early mornings! Hope your days have improved! I've just got back from gym and done a 15 min whip around. Am going shoe shopping with DD and granny shortly and then running club tonight. Got to try and make DH dinner somewhere inbetween all that.

Have a good day!

Well its been a good day for me so far. Managed to complete my bedtime routine last night which made this morning sso much simpler.

I am really behind at work though. Dh and I work from home on Mondays but are both out (me in office and he teaching) on Tuesdays.

Yesterday morning we were called to school as ds had fallen up a step and banged/cut his head. It needed a trip up to A & E to glue the cut together, then a trip to McDonalds (for being brave). By the time we got home it was time for me to go out again to pick dd up from school.

Still I did at least mamage to do yesterdays mission last night and ds is fine.

Hi all.

Tigger weekend in london sounds exciting .
island what do you do for a job? (just being nosey).

Had a frustrating day yesterday, DD (3.6) was dry all summer, but is having lots of accidents since she's gone back to nursery (4 in 4hrs yesterday), it seems she leaves it too late to get to the toilet as she doesn't want one of the others to have the toy that she is playing with! She is becoming disheartened and the other children are commenting on her wetting her knickers What to do?

Today:
Laundry!!
finish house bleugh
swimming with ds
book panto!

Ruby what do we do next on Xmas planning mission??

Busy, busy, busy here...too much to do, not enough time to do it!
House is s l o w l y starting to resemble a home again. It's all a tip atm for some reason.

Need to do a supermarket shop at some point today so will probably go after school with the dcs.

Afternoon all

Everyone seems to be having a good day. Hope everyone who had a bad night gets abit more sleep tonight.

I'm being seriously rubbish atm. Lost the plot with ds last night, DP and DD got woken up at 11:15 with me screaming at DS to go to sleep. He's learnt, after 2 nights that if he screams I cant put him to bed because he wakes DD and/or DP up. Eventualy DP got dd up, laid her down o nthe sofa leaving ds to scream. I was sitting on the floor crying as I had been doing since dp went to bed at 9:15. Felt really bad when ds get climbing on my lap stroking my hair and giving me kisses and cuddles.

I've therefore done only the morning routine today.

I'm tryign really hard to cheer up before getting dd all I feel lije doing atm is crying. I'm off for a strong sugar filled cup of tea.

AAHHHHH
DS1 has not stopped moaning and tantruming since I picked him up from school, currently shouting down the monitor that I am horrible for making him get changed and not letting him have a marmalade sandwich for dinner!

Ds2 has scibbled felt tip on his hands his mouth and ds1's picture ( more shouting from ds1)

I however have just realised the reason why I have eaten nothing but chocolate today ( huge bar diary milk, packet minstrals and huge bag of maltessers) is that AF is on her way. Just in time to spoil my weekend away I expect!!

shanna It must be something in the air
