Thanks for the thread saga
You've made a good start greyskull envy

I have taken ds back to school but dd is still suffering in bed She's feeling very sorry for herself today. Hopefully she'll start to feel better as the day goes on. I have a couple of yummy bath bombs from Lush saved as a cheer-up for her so I'll run her a nice bath when she feels like it and she can pamper herself a bit

I will mostly be on dressing up costume making duty again today. I have borrowed a sewing machine so I plan to make good progress on ds's cowboy clothes. Dd and I may make some Barbie clothes too if she feels up to it

I will do my very basic routine thsi morning and try to do the mission while dd is in the bath later

TMH don't forget to get your script!

TheMadHouse Thu 18-Sep-08 09:27:14

I am back!

J's dad's got day off work to take him for his first day at nursery school today so we have the house to ourselves as of now, which is nice. As my lo has been in a foul mood all morning n won't let me out of her sight I'm not planning too much this morning.

To do this morning:
S&S bathroom
S&S kitchen
re-make big bed which both kids have just trashed
decide how much I want paying for having J in a morning, giving him lunch & walking him to nursery . . . I was thinking £10 a day to cover food as well, does that seem unreasonable to anyone?
shops if lo

Ruby glad BIL is picking up, fingers crossed it is an infection and not something worse
cafebistro I would have a day off n chill if I had a hangover, just do bare minimum to keep house ticking over nicely

Right, off to s&s and ignore my lo's paddy. See if ignoring her does the trick of stopping it like it did last night. TTFN, have a fab day everyone xx

minorbird Thu 18-Sep-08 11:54:25

Morning everyone

Been a bit busy with work but house is still sparkling and missions done! I cant tell you how much easier it is knowing what I'm cooking for dinner in the evening and having clothes picked out for the morning. Its just marvellous!

All jobs are done today, except tonights dinner. Off on a run now and then more work this afternoon. Hopefully pop back on later. Hope all is well. x smile

cafebistro Thu 18-Sep-08 11:56:27

Hi everyone again smile
Went to the shop and feel much better after long walk. Have made lunch for me and DS ( DS wont eat his as he scoffed a croissant on the way home! my fault entirely!) and put DD down for a nap.

Happy Birthday *Little Tigger* ! My DS has just turned 3 and the time flies by sad.

Lucysmam- Im planning on doing bare minimum but have a chicken to strip of meat and a carcass to boil up for stock for the soup for tea...I feel queasy just thinking about it. Also if I have a lazy day today I'll have twice as much to do tomorrow sad.

Think I'll have a Mars bar and form my plan of action...

sagacious Thu 18-Sep-08 12:09:22

Chocolate a good idea cafe

Happy birthday minitig

Waves to all (minorbird you're very motivated today!)

Am going to drop DD at pre school then have 2 hrs

I need to

Sort out new printer thats been sitting in its box for 4 weeks
Clean kitchen floor properly not a half hearted wipe
Finish off home 'bleurgh'

lucysmam Thu 18-Sep-08 12:09:23

lol cafebistro leave it until later on then. Stripping the bird shouldn't take that long & once stock's on you can leave it to it's own devices pretty much!

Tigger I am ever so sorry I missed that it was your DS's birthday!!! Hope he has a brilliant day smile

I still don't know what to do. I really know I should be tidying up our bedroom which has once again become a general dumping ground for everything that needs organising/putting away/sending to charity shop amongst other things! It just looks like it'll be a long job n I really can't be arsed with it if I'm honest.

So my list for now is play on t'internet & see what I get done later on

Am sorting out living room drawers later on when oh at footy and lo in bed so that will probably take up most of my evening of peace hmm & I said I'd do something for oh while he was out, except I can't remember what I said I'd do shock blush

lucysmam Thu 18-Sep-08 12:23:14

tortoise seeds arrived just now, thanks very much. Will look forward to trying them out.

But, be warned, I may be back for advice about what to do with them . . . . not very green fingered sad

Shannaratiger Thu 18-Sep-08 12:36:19

Afternoon everyone

Had toddlers so not much done. I've got to pick dd up in 15mins, washing is sitting looking at me so I'd better go and hang it out.
Happy Birthday MiniTigger. My DS is 2 next friday shock

Hope everyone has a good afternoon.

bythepowerofgreyskull Thu 18-Sep-08 13:24:02

grouchyoscar Thu 18-Sep-08 13:57:39

TheMadHouse Thu 18-Sep-08 14:13:30

First Off

Happy Birthday MiniTigger*
Glad BIL is on the mend hopefully

Keep nagging script still not picked up.

Ended up taking mother back to the hospital - argggggggggggggggg. DS1 was late for Preschool and really upset. Lunch was served to him in the car (sandwich) on the way.

I then had to do the shopping and have only just got that away and DS2 to bed. He is not all that well coughing away sad

So my plans are all up in the air.

One thing is the washing has dried on the line.

I will drink my drink and then crack on with missions

sagacious Thu 18-Sep-08 14:18:31

grouchy hope your cat will be ok
mad pick up that BLOODY SCRIPT !!

It has taken me over an hour but I now have a fully working scanner/printer thingy ( as a very non techie this is a personal triumph!!)

Kitchen floor still filthy (ignores this and does victory geek dance)

Time for tea and to clear up all the random plastic and bubblewrap

TheMadHouse Thu 18-Sep-08 15:33:07

Groucy I am keeping everything cross for the cat. One eared is better than no cat.

Sag the nagging worked I have collected DS1 and the script (now tablets).

We are all just having a drink then off out blackberrying

cafebistro Thu 18-Sep-08 15:37:21

Hi..back again smile

Grouchy - good luck at the vets.

Well I have stripped the chicken! The stock is bubbling away on the stove and have prepared veggies to put in it.

Also done -

W/m on
D/w on
Compost out
Wiped all kitchen surfaces down

To Do-

5 min hotspot kitchen table
Sort out damp laundry
Home blessing
Room rescue..lounge

Still havent done any of my missions for the week. Or done any zone decluttering.
Think i'll do all missions together tomorrow hmm. Does anyone else do that or is it against the rules? grin

Anyway better be off and sort kitchen out.

scattyspice Thu 18-Sep-08 16:42:18
