Just making the kids home made chips with some parsnip and carrot chips. Even though I am using my Prestige tray, bought at great expense, they have stuck to the blooming thing!
tis the sugar in the parsnips and carrots, it leaks out, caramalises, and then goes hard (as sugar does!)

No, not crap bakeware, more likely your oven is set at too high a temperature. Lower temp for longer should help.Or, deep fry them!
Longer at lower sounds like the way to go for us. Thanks!
