Feel shattered this morning. Ds is doing jigsaws with nana and im about to get DD up who was still fast asleep when I last looked. Not sure much will get done today....probably go out so we'll see.

Luda Happy Birthday to dd1 from my dd (and the rest of us!)
Ruby I need a haircut too. Am toying with trying new salon which has opened in our village. I'm feeling as though I need a new look but have a loyalty to my current hairdresser so prob won't brave it.

Dd has gone into school in tears again She has a spelling test today and was asking "What will you do to me if I get any spellings wrong?" as though I was going to beat her or something! I always tell her to just do her best but she gets really panicky about disappointing me

The kids have a friend each coming home after school today so I'm hoping the weather will stay dry and we can go to the park.

Today I need to play catch-up with the housework~

Thanks for the birthday wishes

She is a happy little bunny today....LOVED her pressies!

I on the other hand am struggling big time Woke up at about 5am with the mother of all headaches and as I decided to get up to take some Ibuprofen I was sick
I have obviously developed a migraine during the night and when they are particularly bad ones I get sick too

I have taken my tablets but it is a thumper of a headache
I was awake when the kids woke at about 7am and managed to do the happy clappy happy birthday bit....and smile through the annoyingly loud new laptop and squabbles!
I even managed breakfast and getting them all dressed and then the school run.
I have even managed NOT to go and suffocate my DH who is still in bed and didn't move a muscle...other than to watch DD1 open her pressies on our bed and give her a hug....then lie back down knowing full well I was not good AT ALL

Humph...I'm going over the shop now to buy something nice to scoff and I'm going to sit and watch some Jeremey Kyle and not lift a finger on the rat pit of a house!

(Who am I kidding...its such a mess its making me twitch!)

luda have you tried forehead? it works for me but i know others who say it does nothing, so just depends on the person i guess, but maybe worth a try?

This is my first week day off in a while and I am rediculasly excited about watching jeremy kyle off to see my old boss this afternoon as its her birthday. flat has been badly neglected as i started new job this week and its been crazy busy so need to -

put rubbish in bin
take stuff through to kitchen
hoover
clean out rabbits cage
change bed covers
clean bathroom
clean kitchen
wash dishes
put away clean washing
put on washing machine

I have managed to do the ironing. I popped wiggles on in the conservatory for DD2 and DD1 came on the PC in the spare room whilst I ironed. We are off to music and moevement now though. So catch you later

Lucysmam yes foodshopping takes ages with my LO too! "Can I have, can I have, can I have!!!" Otherwise I quite enjoy it. Will be spending more time in the cleaning stuff isles now I'm a FLY lady too. LOL. Luda glad your LO is having a larvley birthday, its so exciting when your small! RE: Migraine - have you drank lots of water? Usually sorts me out.

Just done, hoovering, washing up, mission. Off to run & gym now. Yuk. Would rather be on here! See yall laters.

Hi i've watched JK now and feel a bit more relaxed

Not tried Forehead giraffe don't know why, as I have tried pretty much everything else! I might give that a go and see.

TMH I have been back drinking coke ....I have been having about 1 can a day....I switched to diet coke too thinking it wasn't as bad as full sugar coke and hoped I'd be ok.
TBH I think hormones are mostly to blame but I may have to give up on the coke again
I just struggle to drink anything else. I don't drink tea or coffee, squash is just so....well....squashy and if I drink just juice I get bad guts. Water is so bland I have to force it down really.
I suppose I have to weigh up what I'd rather have....migraines or coke! (I think chocolate might not be helping too )

God I just wish I had some will power!

Minor I shall go and drink some water, I had a glass earlier but I'll go and have some more just incase

Luda sorry to hear about your migraine. They are awful! I only started getting them after I'd given birth and they now come with alrming regularity. I used to wait and see if they'd pass as I hate taking tablets, but I've learnt my lessons now and the minute I feel odd - I get Migraleve Pink tablets down my neck and try and head for a dark still place. Not easy with kids!!

Today, I am slow slow tortoise slow. Must go to be earlier - that would help. On day 7 of babysteps. My sink is waiting me - not so shiny at the moment. Fell like going for a nap instead.

We are all shattered, just getting used to being back at nursery and my ds has started swimming lessons and dd dancing lessons; suddenly there's a shcedule to adhere to!!

luda happy birthday DD . sorry about the migrane. I too have been suffering more since DCs (hormones too i think). No answers though .

I'm a bit dissappointed as DD did so well at bedtimes for 1 week and has played up so much past 2 nights I've had to sit outside her door again, hope its not a backwards step.

Still have a cold but have started taking vits (DCs too) as past 3 winters I've had constant colds .

I have a friend with one of those braclets Ruby - it;s lovely. She has new beads for all occasions - birthdays, kids Christenings, the day her dd took her first step...etc etc, very good idea ....wish someone would think to buy me one!
