Monday Fly - Just another manic moday or not if you are flying(67 Posts)
Yay! I love the kitchen And I'm feeling all motivated.
Back after the school run, and an hour of work.
OK busy morning
DH car is in to be repaired - so I am picking him up
We are then off to the bank to sort the mortgage out - mum was supposed to be having the boys, will poke head in and see if she is up if not they will be with us
Drop DH back home (working from home today)
Me and boys to playgroup
Back for lunch
DS1s first day back at preschool
Start zone clean
change DS1s bed
whats for dinner
collect scrip from chemists
collect DS1 from preschool
So busy day for me, not helped by DS1 being up through the night again and me and DH falling out this morning.
He siad I was like my mother - red rag to a bull after yesterday
Off to work today so no FLYing for me.
Wanted to wish all those with little ones starting school today a good day
Not sure how much FLYing will get done today, first time I've had 2 kids in house for ages <nail biting emoticon here>. So far so good . . . . only 7 and a half hours to go!
Am starting on babysteps again though, so will keep on top of pots and try to keep kitchen organised! honest
Mad hope you and boys enjoy playgroup
Will check back in later, see how everyone's doing ttfn xx
Thanks for the thread TMH
Morning Jas Lucys and Bianca
UP and Washed
Down to make porridge
Up to Wash Ed
Nit Repellant for Ed
Get him dressed (Like pulling teeth)
Walk him to school
Home, Find 2 blokes knocking the porch down I am having it replaced. I've been wanting to have it done for ages and under the current economic downturn I'd rather my meagre savings got spent on something tangible rather than being wasted IYKWIM.
Very little to do here now. I blitzed it all yesterday. Might make some cookies, might not.
Hope you're having a good day
Madhouse- your DH sounds like my DP! In the middle of an argument he'll always say.."you're just like your bloody mother!"
He says it to upset me as him and my mum dont get on.
Changed DS bed
Emptied D/W and reloaded
Done load of washing
Cleared and polished kitchen table
Put ironing away
Cleared breakfast things away and wiped down the tops
Look at mission if i'll do it!!
Going out for a walk now as its a lovely morning....
Everyone have a shiny happy day
Morning! Loving my clean sink in a morning!
Am just going to step class, but then will return and do the kitchen. There is a disgusting greasy expel air fan in my kitchen... think I need a professional to deal with it but inspired by FLY I'm going to have a go! Also, I'm looking forward to tackling the coat rack, there's loads that could go to charity.
Wow Ruby you are so organised
Think I might book sants express tickets!
Had a very busy weekend so loads still to do at home
Dressed and fed lo's
Picked mum up from garage
dishwasher emptied and refilled
cleaned d/s toilet
Early lunch for ds1 (at school for 12.30 again)

Whats for Dinner
Morning all. DD1 dropped at school .
I too am feeling motivated and am glad it is the kitchen.
Ruby - I'm in for xmas countdown.
Still done nothing yet apart from brekky for four and wash the pots! Feel a bit like I'm ignoring my little girl as my mate's son wants to build stuff with me all the time But I'm managing to cope with 2 for the mo, which is a relief!
Ruby, I'm in for xmas countdown for sure!
Have decided we're having xmas lunch here & any visitors before 12 ish so we have the day to relax.
tigger santa express is a good idea, my lo would enjoy something like that. Is there a website I could have a look at?

Thank you all for your birthday greetings!!
I had a lovely, but slightly soggy day yesterday and now it's time to pay the piper, particularly the piper in the kitchen. DP made me a lovely chocolate cake, and it's amazing how a lot of the mixture seems to end up stuck on the tiles and floor afterward.

Just hung out the washing and put next load onI'm going to make sure my morning routine is done, then go back to shops.
GO - A parcel arrived while I was out, so I'm guessing it is from you. I'll pick it up tomorrow when I've got the car on the road
Well, house is nice and quiet, 2 eldest kids are at school, DH is at work, just DD2 and I here this morning.
I have already put 2 loads of washing on...have piles to put away now.
Kitchen is all tidy
Washing up all done
Living room kind of tidy
Clothes all picked up from upstairs
So not doing too bad.
I've also done some Christmas Pressie buying
I have just bought my dad a nice Ginger Storer (Thanks to your lovely shop Bianca ) Absolutely perfect!
I've bought various other bits and bobs from Avon for my dads wife and my MIL...and the kids....and me
I might actually mange to be a bit more organised this year!!
Understanding and sympathies to those with annoying DH/DPs...Mind you I used to say to DH 'No wonder your second hand' (Mrs GO #2 me)but if fails to work after 5 years of marriage.

Hello everyone, I'm a newbie and on day 4 of babysteps. I feel I've been thrown a lifeline! My sink is shiny and I feel good.
Bathroom quickly cleaned
Piles and piles of clean clothes finally put away!
Just writing out my sticky notes to myself.
It's all good. Hope I don't run out of momentum.
If you are on babysteps - should you be trying to do the mission as well?
Laura Just do what you want TBH. If you feel up for it fair enough. If you don't don't worry
Welcome by the way
Laura - the way I understood starting off with Fly lady was that doing anything in the house was better than doing nothing.. even if you just have 5 minutes it is better to start something.
Hope that helps
I have been flying for along time and still fall off the wagon from time to time..
I've always approached FLY as what I have done rather than what I should do. I always feel I have acheived something rather than done nothing
Thanks - I can see how doing one thing leads to another. It's just so nice to be told to start off slowly - it really takes the pressure of and then suddenly you find energy to do it! Nice to hear so many of you have been doing it for a long time. Do you feel you've made some serious changes? I would love to not feel the CHAOS factor. That might make it easier to met people as I'd have somewhere to invite them back to - certainly not right now though!!
Yep Laura I've been here for 18mths or so and I do a lot more than I used to with very little additional effort. I work smarter rather than harder now
Ruby I love Xmas and love planning it, but need to save up big time this year. I don't know who is coming for Xmas day, prob my mum and Step dad and Pils.
lucy who is the extra child?
laura I am just doing baby steps (again) and not missions. I am trying to establish my routines first befor doing any thing else.
