Morning Shanna and thanks for the links

I have an organised mum calender and pocket diary and love them to bits. I actually use them and write everything in it and even DH has taken to adding if he is going to be late in, car for a service etc.

Well it has been a long night waking DS2 every three hours (I had to set my alarm and it took ages to get back off), but he is OK, apart from a sore head and I am going to give him some calpol if he asks again. I expect we will bouth be a bit groucy by the end of the day.

Jas I understand the broody thing, one of my close friends is expecting in Jan (If I hadnt m/c last year we would have had a jan 2008 baby) and I am so happy for her but also a little melancoly too - espeically as we are giving them all our baby stuff so and at the same time.

It is my Godfathers funeral on Tuesday, so have arrange for a friend to have the boys and to take DS1 to and from Preschool. MIL would have had them, but wouldnt have done the prescholl - she likes an easy life.

We are off to Aldi this Am and then to collect some special cross stiches from the framers - my mums best friend has done a sampler for the boys and my neice and they are so cool. I will take pictures of them and post. We have bought her a special dragon broach in return.

Morning
Thanks for the thread Shanna
Poor ds TMH, hope he's feeling brighter soon x The samplers sound lovely, a friend did one for dd when she was a baby and I love it

Pretty awful start to the day here. After one day back at school dd is back to being moody, rude and stressed I lost my temper with her at breakfast time (why will she not eat??!) and then all sorts of stresses came pouring out of her about school, her friends etc etc Her friends all (according to dd) have Clarks shoes with the toys in, dd doesn't cos I couldn't afford them . she is the odd one out and not allowed in their club

Got drenched in the rain going to and from school

I need to get on top of the housework today so will make a cuppa and do a list to get my brain in gear. Back soon.

Good morning

Shannar I looked at those a while back, am going to get the calendar I think, keep meaning to order one but never get round to it.

Mad bet you're both worn out already! Hope you have an easy (ish?) day

MIL is taking lo today so I'm having a small to do list day. So far I've done:
~lie in til 10am (yeah right!!! 9am n thats it!)
~brekky
~pots
~dressed (all of us for once)

Still to do:
~co-op for milk/lemons
~lemon drizzle cake - sounded yummy so have to try it
~advert for wardrobe in tesco
~pack lo's bag for MIL
~write list of what I still have in cupboards/freezer etc then work on next week's shopping list/meal plan
~what's for tea?
~hoover toast crumbs in living room

& that's it for me. Just going to potter after that while lo is out & enjoy the afternoon just me and oh

Have a good day all xx

Morning Tiger and TMH (hows DS's bumps? Ouch )

I have done my morning routines and I'm sorting out the 4-5 clothes for various FLYers. There's a lot so I'd be pleased with any more takers btw.

I feel at a bit of a loose end. Ed at school and I have nothing constructive to do really I am having to search for jobs that need doing.

I suppose I could

Sort out the cupboards in the bedroom
Put clean washing away
Sort out the ironing

It's not that the house is perfect...There is stuff to do but...I can't be bothered. Any Ideas

If you'd like to email me with a list of what you have I may been interested in some clothes Grouchy..it often depends on the make/style if ds will still fit in size 4-5. Thanks

grouchyoscar · 04/09/2008 10:17

Bianca - It's mostly shirts and tops George and Cherokee. There's some Next stuff too

I find George a bit small on the sizing for Ed But Cherokee and next are pretty generous

Report
BiancaCastafiore · 04/09/2008 10:21

Thanks Grouchy Next are usually OK, don't have a Cherokee anywhere near here so I have no idea about their sizes. Ds mostly needs long sleve tops and trousers.

I'm putting up the shower curtains...Not an easy job as you have to tie 30+ bows above your head while balancing on the roll top done 3/4 of it so far but my back has given up!

snack, sit then back to the balancing act

Bianca, your poor DD I was always the kid who didn't have the right clothes etc. I was really bullied, it was awful. I hate those YO! Toy shoes anyway but it doesn't work if you're under 1o and the girls have turned their backs does it?

Report
BiancaCastafiore · 04/09/2008 11:33

Dd loved the shoe we'd chosen for school but I was so sad to hear she was the odd one out (I doubt everyone has the shoes really but if it feels that way to her then that's really ) I have ened up saying we'll aim to get her some winter boots from Clarks but am taht I should need to!

It's taken me this long to sort through the piles of washing! I'm going to do some picking up and putting away in every room now before getting teh hoover out.

Good to see you Dyls

BiancaCastafiore · 04/09/2008 11:34

washed up breakfast dishes
s&s bathroom
tidyed living room
hoovered behind chairs sofas etc
cleared a space on the bedroom floor and hoovered it
tidied and hoovered the hallway

i feel so much better now as if i have done something gonna go and make lunch now

i'm a bit unsure about shoes with toys in them- i wonder how much they could put distratc a child like my ds- it doesnt take much. so when they first came out and he asked the lady in the shop if they had any and was told his feet are too big i was very releived!

Hi all.

TMH poor you and Ds its one thing after another eh?

shanna I have the calander and pocket diary. Really useful.

Bianca I had a difficult morning too (started well then meltdown when time to switch off TV and get coat on!)I think the stress of going back to school is getting to them. DS goes on about those shoes too. (Why do they make such things!!) I'm sure all the kids will have lost/broke their pesky toys by 1/2 term.

DS did not go into school well (lots of tears ). Have decided to try and ban TV before school as he seems to get so wound up.

Apart from that DD went to bed easily again last night and Ds got up and dressed straight away and ate breakfast (who are these children?)

To Do:
Feed kids
Take DS swimming
drop off books and wellies at friends
Nursery form
Shop list.

hi Dyl, welcome back

Hello
We've been for our first speech therapy appy, and been discharged, when the therapist ran out of paper to write down everything ds said

I'm avoiding Clarkes for shoes unless forced at the moment due to lack of money, too. for your dd though B, I remember feeling that way because I had clarkes shoes when I was her age.

I do hope she gets over it soon, and I like the idea of asstating a breakaway club!

I've had arguments with my dd over shoes today, too....she wants to wear trainers to school (everyone else does) and I said no.

I appear to have only 2 hours to get the house done.....here is my list from yesterday.

Scatty - I banned tv before school last year, with a big improvement as a resul.

Shanna - I did have an OM calendar, but didn't use the stickers at all, and this year bought a cheaper version which I actually prefer.
