Nothing in the right colours. Organised for this year, was going to be really organised for the spring.

Ah well.

Had a look and got a couple of bits. Thanks
Only thing I find with M&S is you don't always get what you ordered

Thank you, singyswife! I have just ordered 5 pairs of trousers, 3 of them cotton, & 6 cotton shirts for DS2 (who is 15 & nearly 6')and the whole lot came to only £27.50

It depends what you buy, uc. I was charged £3.50 & it wouldn't accept the code the first time I placed an order so I placed another. When you get to the page with the order details you then have to click on a button that says separate deliveries or something? It will list each item separately, & you have to click on the next-day option for each, & then put your code in...but of my 3 different items only 2 had that as an option, so I'm getting them tomorrow but still having to pay £3.50 for standard delivery for the 3rd item which will be up to 5 days

Still a bargain though

(NB I then cancelled the first order!!!)

Thanks a lot for this singy, I just ordered lots of bits for hte DC - I'd only got DS two pairs of trousers, so got a bargainous 2 pairs for £3 for both!

Bought DD a schoolbag for £12 on Saturday from M&YS - its in the sale at £5 so I've ordered it again and will go back with my £12 receipt

If you spend £15 on schoolwear, you get free delivery (if the code doesn't work, place your order and ring customer services - they told me that its being a bit hit and miss but they take the charge off immediately)

Mars, snap I have just done the same. The lady I spoke to said she'd had a few calls about it and was very cheerful and funny! I wonder who else she had spoken to? (she had a scottish accent and her name began with M?)

I had a lovely young woman but didn't catch her name. She said "Is it about the schoolwear?"

. ARRRGGGHHH, just spent half hour doing an order. Couldn't get the discount so did what WendyWeber suggested. Great, could order 4th Sept as delivery date (only next day before 12pm). When I then entered the discount code it took the money off but said the delivery dates were changed. So went back in, only 11th Sept onwards available, but if I selected standard delivery it would be sent on 9th Sept. So rang very unhelpful man (where was the lovely lady you all got) who said it was probably because things were out of stock. I assured him that it said everything was in stock. So he then went through individually and first 3 things were out of stock. So in the end I told him not to bother. Half hour of lunchtime wasted. Oh well

My next-day stuff has arrived already!!!

Am slightly because I ordered 16" collar shirts & they've sent age 16 instead. They are OK atm, but the chest is 2" smaller (37 rather than 39) so DS2 will outgrow them quicker, but at £1.50 per shirt it would be churlish to complain (and anyway they've sold out of the larger sizes!)

Thank you singyswife for the tip! I managed to get a pinafore for dd that I had been desperately searching for and some other bits.

And I too phoned and got the delivery charge taken off.
