Because I'm starting to find it all a bit dull.

Oooooooh, I love crisp white bedding.

Shades of blue and yellow - very 90s dahling, but we still like it (although do feel tempted by the pristine white look ...).

plain white for me too

I like cream rather than white, with a vey subtle pattern just along the pillow end. But I have been known to come over all Cath Kidston in the summer I must admit.

The antithesis of white bedding

Well, yes, NomdePlume. Enough to make white bedding look lovely again.

mostly crisp white, but occasionally put on a v brightly coloured set from Descamps. They have lots of cheerful looking stuff that's also stylish (imho)

No throws except for in winter (for warmth rahter than looks)

bright bedlinen on anything but kids beds is terribly vulgar, dahling

Purple. Scrunched up due to DS's bed jumping. Manky throw to keep cat hairs off duvet.

Oh how I would love to 'do' Crisp White.

I just think the white bedding is a bit, well, white. I want something else but I'm not sure what. Something pretty but not girlish. Welcoming but not dark. More lavish feeling. It's a bit austere the white stuff.

How do you guys "do" crips white look?

impossible for us -mainly due to the cats although the children do not help.

Well, it does involve ironing. And thick cotton to start with. And it's not always crisp. But that's the idea. What do you have?

I thought so too NdP, but actually love this set. It's very 30s-esque, i think - remainds me of a Vanessa Bell woodcut. Still usually use various whites though, so I can't be that vulgar after all

how bizarre -I previewed & posted at the same time.

We do the pristine white look.

Don't let the dc's or dog in, apart from for a fleeting visit. It is my one bit of sanctuary in the whole bleedin' house.

I do have 2 black cats though which can often hinder the crisp look

mine are blue & green checks.

The palest we go is cream but never crisp because we do not iron.

i dont do white!

I have coffee and cream colours.

my fave set has faux suade (sp?) at the bottom of the duvet cover and on the edges of the pillow cases.

I am a cheap slut when it comes to bedlinen though, and argos does!

What colour are your walls and flooring?

I am a fan of metallics, they look lovely by lamplight & even better by candlelight...

feeling all romantic but DH out at football...
