Housekeeping

Just in case you hadn't already realised..........I'm totally bonkers.........

I've not been sleeping well, but apart from in the mornings (when I've had a bads night sleep) haven't actually been feeling tired.

I'm way behind with my laundry and housework - so instead of sleeping (bearing in mind that ex has the DS's tomorrow morning until Sunday evening so I'll be going out with DP tomorrow night) I'm up and doing housework........

I'm bonkers aren't I???

Yup! But I kinda know where you are coming from- maybe you will sleep better knowing all the housework is done (God, I ahve changed sooo much since having kids!!)

phew - was starting to think I'd found my sanity again

Not sure I'll sleep that great (when I finally decide to give up on the housework) - but at least my housework will be done

It was bad design when women were given brains that can multi task!

Even when I am lying in bed trying to sleep, my mind is going over what needs to be done in the morning!

All my DP thinks about is waking up and going on ebay! It's me looking after dc!

We're going to south france next thursday and my brain is doing overtime as I'm trying not to forget anything and I am thinking about all the things I need to get and do for the trip! DP is in bed sleeping soundly...[envy}

very true - and it doesn't help that before I do finally fall asleep not only do I tend to run through that day that's just happened (from start to finish) -but try and plan the next one as well........just doesn't work.....

Ho- hum - got my last load of washing in now

you have got it bad!

I'm still up trying to do my website, as I can't do it during the day cause i'm looking after ds! I'm trying to start a business so all my work has to be done on the nights

it's taking me FOREVER.....

can't wait to go to sleep!

i'll leave the washing up my dp has kindly left for me until the morning, as i have one of those emersion heaters (so annoying) So i have to plan when I need hot water so I can heat it up before hand...the mind never stops!

I still say women are gods! and men are just bods! lol!

It hit me the other week- I drank far too much wine on a Saturday night, and ended up being sick. But even then, when DH asked if there was anything he could do, I gave him clear concise instructions (between puking) as to how to put the dishwasher on! How sad!

no - I'm sorting my laundry, and I've loaded the dishwasher, about to bring the ironing board downstairs and iron next to the computer

Too quiet at this time of night - plenty of time to flit around doing bits while MN'ing

trust me psycho - if you could see my dining room table right now - you'd know I've been doing something - I currently have about 5 loads of washing (now dried) waiting to be ironed) - it was spread all over my house when I got up this morning (still dirty)

Hmm, see there is rationale in putting the dishwasher on at this time of night, but ironing at this time is madness- unironed clothes feel so much better than 4 hours sleep!

psycho - not normal at all.........welll no-one I know in RL thinks so anyhow lol.

Jooly - I have to do at least some ironing so the DS's have ironed stuff to take to exh's tomorrow - and if I've got it out I may as well do a load of it.........

Noo- ironing is only to be done in front of decent TV and there is none on! Betya exh won't notice creases!

FAQ · 30/08/2008 02:09

oh trust me - he will notice if the clothes aren't ironed - and I know it's none of his business -but I'd rather just iron them and not have any smarmy comments when he drops them off on Sunday evening.........
