Morning Bewilderbeast, your poor ds, hope his head is feeling better soon!
Can't believe how busy you've been this morning, you seem to have done twice as much as me
I'm still finding my feet at the mo, but do feel I'm starting to get some good habits!

I'm off out with some friends for a picnic today, fingers crossed for weather.

All I've managed is
empty and reload dishwasher
clean table

Still need to
Hoover lounge/ dining room (desperately)
babystep for today
mission for today (haven't even read what these are)

Morning to everyone else

Morning BB

I'm up...just reading a rather rediculous post (good old MN )

I'm having my hair cut today and the kids are having a trim. All ready for school next week.

Other than that, not really doing much. Just a general tidy

Morning
Thanks for the thread Bewilder, and for the links Luda

We had a houseful of kids again yesterday so i took advantage of everyone being kept happy nad had a quick blitz on the upstairs of the house - I can't remmeber the last time I managed to get the hoover up there! It's all lovely and tidy this morning
I need to hoover downstairs todya so will do the mission.
I also need to sort the spare room as we have visitors tomorrow night.

Feeling a bit that the summer has alomost gone already. The lazy days have been very nice

I have finally managed to get the kids to have a school-uniform-trying-on-session Thankfully everything from last year still fits except for dds polo shirts and tights so we haven't had to invest in much. Ds is complaining that some of his clothes say dds name (hand-me-downs) so I'll put some new labels on at some point over the weekend

We're hoping it'll stay dry and warm so we can get to the park for a picnic

I'm .. errr.. here

Slurps tea

bewilder my mums old house had silverfish (little critters used to come out for a party at night) Irrc they like damp places, I seem so remember she had some evil smelling stuff (but this was the mid 80's so thats not really very helpfull and I'm not hippy eco girl so i'd probably wave some peppermint oil at them and sing a folk song)

God I really need this tea.

Had a strange dream last night we bought a puppy and a rabbit...

I'd better go and finish this tea

BBL (and hopefully more cognent)

Hi

Had to LOL at the thought of saga singing folk songs to the silverfish

lucys hello, thanks for that I have high expectations from the postal service so they hadn't better let me down!

Bianca hellloooooo
Hope the weather stays fair for your picnic. I'm feeling a bit sad school is starting again too, the holiday seems to have whizzed by and the weather has been so pants we haven't really done a lot! We didn't go away this year, decided to redecorate instead, so next year I think a holiday will be our main priority.

Well I have the stereo up and I've done today's mission and I've cleaned the bathroom.
Off to make a spot of lunch and then turf the kids into the garden for some fresh air

ludaloo · 29/08/2008 12:36

Thanks for the thread BWB...It's the end of the holidays and we haven't gort around to a meet up yet. Poor DS, he's having a hard time of it at the moment.

We went swimming as a family last night. Ed and DH had a great time.Very splashy but lots of fun. Washed everything and it's drying now.

Been out all morning with Ed. Spent way too much in charity shops but I'm really chuffed with the Spike Milligan kids treasury for 75p and Ed is engrosed in the Thunderbirds VHS he chose.

Also stocked up on lunchpack supplies. He has enough chewy bars and little cheeses to see him through the term.

He has Rugby training tonight. Should tire him out a bit

Done
Up and washed
Wash Ed
SS bathroom
S&S Loo
Clear almost dry washing off the clothes horse
Load TD
Empty WM
Sort for drying
Hang to dry
Make breakfast
Empty DW
Put away
Make pizza dough
S&S worktops with vinegar
Downtown for shopping trip
Take Ed for a hot chocolate
Home
Empty bags and put away
MN time.

Got to set off in a couple of hours to the rugby pitch then on to Tesco for the weekly shop.

BBL
