Morning Rowingboat You are still doing well I see.

We are up and morning routine for us nearly complete, porridge is cooling

I have the TD on - that rain will make my electric bill far to big.

We are going swimming this morning, which should be fun. I have popped lunch in the slow cooker.

Thank you Scatty and Grouchy - I'm still in shock. I kept searching for Monday, thinking 'it must be here somewhere' then 'Oh no, there isn't one, I'll have to start one, waaah!'
scatty that's not good about the bedroom and car. We had some condensation mould on our bedroom window, and the internet said diluted bleach to get of it, and it did work. I think it was because we had the bedroom window & curtains closed all the time - when the LO was tiny and sleeping next to it.
TMH that sounds yummy! Enjoy swimming. Did you teach your boys to swim?

Morning Lucys poor you, you must feel so tired. I just put everything on the list, so that I can tick things off, otherwise I don't think I've done anything.
Have been looking on the supermarket websites to see if anyone has a deal on cartons of fruit juice - Tesco have Princes 2 for one, but I bet there will be none left when I get there later.
Have to phone school as well, just to confirm the day that pre-school starts. They seem to stagger the morning nursery, afternoon nursery and primary school start dates. Binned the bit of paper with the details.

Just back from the stupid run and didn't finish because it poooured down and the LO refused to go any further on his running bike.
Got back and the key got stuck in the back gate, so it took about 30 minutes to free it. In the rain. Grrr!
We are having lunch now so feel much better.
Stupid rain.

Afternoon All

Swimming was lovley, although you might as well stay in your swimming kit in this weather - what a day. Wet wet wet

DS2 is napping, DS1 is on PC. I am going to pop the dryer on again.

No need to do the mission, as one of my morning routine is to make the bed and clear the bedroom. My bedroom is my sanctary and apart from the state of the wardrobes is OK!

scattyspice · 18/08/2008 15:19

Afternoon.

lucy & RB Dh tackled the mould yesterday while I took DCs out (horrible stinky mould remover stuff). But we have to avoid putting stuff under the bed or on top of wardrobes to let air circulate (he says). So have a mountain of stuff to rehouse (I have my eye on Dh new shed ).
katie Good luck with the painting (not got LOs underfeet too have you?)
BB I totally agree, maintenance is much easier than emergency cleaning.
saga re floor.
lucy (again) Xmas!!!

Well, back from the party with 2 facepainted children (a bit smudged fromthe walk home in the rain!)

House bless done!! (first time this has actually been done on a mon).

Still wading through laundry.
Better go wake DD.

I have chucked the kids in the garden (they are playing on the trampoline) and am watching the Olympics whilst ironing.

I am secretly scared I am turning into my mother (I have childhood memories of ironing/Wimbledon))

Off downstairs to tackle dh's work shirts...sigh
