We usually do the lift on the loo when we go to bed but last night each thought the other did it .

Her matress smells really bad I have done the washing powder and dettol but still smells .

Dp just gone to get bicarb if this dosen't work what else can I do ???

I have a steam cleaner

A carpet cleaner (this probably wont work will It?)

Or should I put it in the garden for a couple of hours? .

what did you do with the bicarb? <gets ready to take notes>

I put it outside and sprinkled it all over mattress both sides and brushed it in and it smells lovely now .

I think some people make a mixture with water and bicarb but I just put it on dry.

You can get a really soft and non-rustly (is that a word hmm ) mattress protector for future protection.

I got mine from www.snugnights.co.uk

they are lovely and soft, we even have one on our bed after I did a spectacular whole cup of coffee spill on our previous mattress grin

Ohh thanks fizzy I will check it out .

think that'll work with a carpet? pet carpet spray isn't cutting it.
