Are you mainly a loo-roll installer or a last-sheet stealing bandit??

This is, I suspect, a hackneyed topic. But really, why-oh-why won't people (and by people, I am particularly singling out DH) put a new roll on the roller (it takes, ooooh 10 seconds), or more to the point NOT leave the bathroom completely bereft, especially when he uses so much!

I am mainly an installer, and may I add, a frugal user.

AGREE 10000% percent.

DH doesn't even put the cardboard roll in the bin, but on the handle of the loo brush ffs

I am purely an installer. I don't think anyone else in the house knows how to

I am deficitely a loo roll installer

I even have a routine wherby when I do put on a new roll (taken from the cupbard beside the loo), I then repelnsih the cupboard with a new "spare" roll from the hall cupbard where the main loo roll stocks are kept.

Installer everyday since DS has started wiping his own bum and using a loo roll a time!

I am suprise our 500 year old plumbing is up tp the job to be honest our loo at our old modern hous would have conked out years ago - an just waiting for him to use the ensuite with the saniflo and have to fish out the loo roll before I can flush it away!

Installer and then yeller as DH has nicked all but the last sheet, which I've mistaken as a few sheets, sat down and then found out I HAVE NOTHING TO USE! Grrrrrr

Yes, shame they don't print instructions on the packaging. Actually, maybe they do and it says:

"Simply balance new roll on top of old tube, or leave on side in puddle of condensation from the shower for stylish, innocent yet dubious, wrinkly effect"

installer!! i think most of us probably are. My oh balances the empty tube on top of the bin, puts the middle bit of the holder back and leaves the new loo roll on the back of the loo

For a bit of balance:
No last sheet stealing bandits in this house. We are all installers.

Installer. If DH has to do it he rams the new one on the holder aswell so it's half hanging off, and it's ALWAYS the wrong blooming way up!

I will admit to being a stealer, as this is one of the few jobs DH will do without being asked. It also amuses me that he finds it ever-so-slightly irritating.

Having said that, I always turn it round after he's installed, because he doesn't do it properly.

Hee hee. We are both installers and I always turn it around as well

Has to pull from over the top NOT from underneath

Correct, hamster.
