How do you file your paperwork?

I need a new filing solution that is easy and a little bit pretty if possible!

I currently file everything in plastic envelopes (one for bank statements, one for car related stuff etc) inside 3 box files.
These are now full and it seems silly to buy another box file. Instead I'd like one thing to hold all my paperwork.

Not keen on the metal file box things. Something a bit nicer looking would be nice

Afraid I am pretty rubbish at paperwork. It first gets put in a ever growing pile, then when I can't stand it any longer it gets put in a concertina fie.

or even a concertina FILE.

Hmmm thanks.
Maybe I'll have a look and see if I can find a biggish concertina file

2point4 kids.....although you have to keep some stuff longer than a year (or it may at least be wise to keep some stuf for more than a year)...you don't have to keep it all in 1 place.

When our big metal box gets full; I go through it and remove naything over 12m old. I don't throw it away - just put it in a cardboard box in teh loft so you have more room in your "working files" and the rest is stashed out of view in a boring cardboard box in teh loft should you ever need to go back to it.
