it's 10:30pm where i am otherwise i would join you. i'm bored to death. that's a lot of work for being 38 weeks. are you completely energized?

BabiesEverywhere · 25/07/2008 06:36

It is too hot here and I can't sleep and so when my DH got up at 5am to go to work I gave up trying to sleep and got up.

I am debating about going to buy some garden fence paint when my DD wakes up, the garden fence really is over due a coat of stain and I need to do it before we re-net our cat fence topper

So where are you chefswife ?

I don't feel to bad energy wise, even though I have dire iron levels and am on my 2nd iron suppliment thingy from the midwife.

That said I will properly regret being up so early when it gets to the evening.

Anyhow better get the ironing board out.

Morning

I am so out of touch with the threads these days
Hope everyone is OK. I will try to catch up on yest at some point.

The kids both have friends coming to play this morning so I'm hoping they'll entertain themselves () so I can do some pottering about. I can hardly get in through the utility room door due to all the bags etc which came back from school earlier int he week so I need to have a sort out in there.

My bedroom is still lovely and tidy after my sort-out last week so I can skip todays mission

Morning !

Well yesterday was my sort out house day. So do I have a clean and sparkly house?

Errr no

Phonecall from friend to "come over have a glass of wine and let the kids run around in the paddling pool"

I also sort of remember inviting over the whole of the PTA for dinner and drinkies tonight as the restaurant we were going to has mucked up the booking

Oh bugger
I also have a hangover

Morning all.

Morning routine mostly done. DDs have the playmobil out which is great as it is keeping them very quiet. DD1 role play. DD2 taking all the flowers of the playmobil plants.

House a mess. I had a migraine last night, probably due from stress of DDs disappearing in the supermarket yesterday. Feel better today but off to ILs tomorrow for the day (taking DD1 to see WallE at cinema) so would like house to be tidy by tonight so it is good when we get back.

Morning

Thanks for the thread BabiesEverywhere Good luck with sorting your room to fit in the baby....I was a bit too relaxed with ds, too. Despite him being 8 days late, the furniture didn' get moved until the day he was born!

Bianca - Also very behind with threads (and housework). Trying o rediscover the dds bedroom floors this morning before we go out

EV I hope you feel better today

Saga _ Sounds mch more fun than cleaning!

We are going to the farm today, but should be home all weekend to tidy up and pack to go to my mums for a week.

Morning everyone

I am in trouble today as I set the alarm wrongly last night and DH was an hour late for work. Typical sod's law though because any other morning when we were trying to lie in for an hour the dcs would have woken us up early.

Loads to do today cos we are off on holiday tomorrow - can't wait!
Put last minute things in case
Weigh case to make sure it doesn't exceed limit (ha ha - it's soooo full)
Clean bathroom
Clean kitchen including washing floor
Finish ironing
Change sheets on children's beds
Collect dry cleaning
15 mins declutter downstairs
15 mins upstairs

If I get half that done I will be happy!

Morning

babies pace yourself girl . I had DD when DS was 20mnths, tis hard work no?

chef Are you in bed yet?

Sags at your social life.

Bianca hope you get some peace today . I don't even look in our utility rm, just open the door and throw stuff in . We are awaiting a shed to store some of the garden stuff (that is piled up in utility rm). I have plans for a sparkly laundry room (with matching accessories)! Unfortunately DH wants the shed as a workshop and DD wants it as a play house!

EV I'm thinking of wall.e too, let us know what you think.

rowboat Don't worry about keeping up with baby steps I sometimes think flylady is aimed at women who don't work and have nochildren . The key is to adapt it to suit you. .

Today's daily parade of adventures is a trip to Lidl!
Need to dust
Clean fridge
Wash BR floor!!!
Check out Usbourne books for something suitable for DS to practise reading (any suggestions?).

sag sounds like a fun way of spending the afternoon, wish i could have (although dont envy you having a hangover!)

BABIESEVERYWHERE good luck with baby prep!!

well ladies here's my list for today although id rather be out doing something in the sunshiney weather

strip big bed & wash bedding
wash towels
wash last nights tea pots (no brekky pots as lo has had a banana)
quick wipe surfaces in kitchen (experimenting again in there tonight with my new found enthusiasm for cooking so no point doing too much as it always ends up a state!~)
clean bathroom after oh has bath
mission & babystep
finish sorting out toys
CLEAN KITCHEN FLOOR
wait & see if fridgefreezer and cooker turn up today or not (insurance have got me in a right muddle!)

that's enough to get me started, bbl to see how far ive got! xx

Morning all and thank you for the welcome yesterday.

Day 17 of babysteps. Morning routine not gone so well as DD is grizzly (an unfortunate combination of hot weather, a cold, and an eczema flareup). Currently typing one-handed while feeding her.

To do:
Wash up breakfast things & Shine sink
Laundry: put away clean laundry. Hang out the load that's currently in washer
Hot spot
15 minutes declutter
Supermarket (aargh!)

Oh, and try to decide what to do about the fact that the rubbish in our area hasn't been collected on the last 2 collection days and someone has collected several houses worth of rubbish and piled it directly outside my front door!

scattyspice · 25/07/2008 11:58

Cleaned under sofa (grim)
Wiped scuff marks off living room walls

Yuck
Is it me or does humid weather just make everywhere look filthy?

I swear this place looked lovely on Wednesday...
