The house is disgusting, it never seems to be clean no matter how much cleaning I do so I am planning a full-scale deep-clean. So, what is the best way to clean dust and associated grime off skirting boards and painted wooden doors etc? Any domestic goddesses out there feel free to pass on any other top cleaning tips. If I'g going to do this by god I'm going to do it properly!

I meant squirt of w-up liquid in the bucket, not on the skirting

I find those Dettol floor wipes best for skirting boards + floors, bit expensive if you use them a lot but they do an excellent job!

I use a baby wipe.

damp e-cloth for everything.
if you have clumps of dust, then quick hoover over skirtings, etc. beforehand
