Morning

Las day of term here.

I think I may feel the same fo those changes in ds, as he is my last baby I'm already not looking forward to him starting school, as DD1 will go up to senior school at the same time....to much change in one go!

I spent all day yesterday out, and have managed to burn the backs of my knees and calves

I need to do the bathroom today(dp shaved his hair off over the bathroom sink last night), and also shop and tidy and hoover.

DD2 has pulled out most of the dressing up box looking for a Roald Dahl themed outfit for her end of term party so that needs putting back too. DS is up there finishing off the job of trashing the room now.

Hiya,

Not been in for a while, hope I haven't missed too much.

I'm up, not dressed or morning routine done yet. Fed baby and having a brew before going back up and doing it.
I need to wash our sheets today but looks like rain.

The lovely workmen are out this morning drilling at 7.30, I feel sorry for those on summer hols wanting a lie in.

I'll check in later,

Ruby, My DD1 left pre-school yesterday. I felt a pang of sadness but it is tempered by her excitement about school. I have DD2 though who has another year before she can go to pre-school. She would go now if she could though so I think I need to find a toddler group for her.

House not too bad. I'm going to try and get back to doing the zones when I should be as not much is getting deep cleaned at the moment.

Hello lovely Fly ladies. Can I still be a Flyer? DH broke his arm last month and has been off work for the past 5 weeks so haven't been online as much as usual. He's back at work today so I'm hoping to get back on the wagon.

DD is one tomorrow! Can't believe she's a year old already. Hope the pre-school start goes well Ruby.

Skimmed the weekend thread on sunday. Did Mad go into hospital yesterday or was I confused? Hope she's doing okay.

Need to start morning routine.

Busy day again today and have just found out dd is doing a show at school this morning which I am supposed to go and watch...need to leave in a mo.
Alos found a HUGE list of after-school activities which I am supposed to choose "st least one" of for each child (do they really think we're all made of £!) which has a deadline to be returned by today! Grr @ dd for never bringing her bookbag home! Lots of great stuff to choose from though.

Had an almighty row with dd this morning in which we both lost our tempers...feeling like a pretty crappy mum this morning. Roll on tomorrow afternoon when they break up for the summer and I get a well rested daughter again.

Better get sorted ready to go back into school. I hope to get back later cos I need some housework related motivation please

Good morning

Apologies have not been on for a while really busy here with ds being ill and loads of other stuff.

Anyway, thoughts to TMH for a swift recovery
Jas My dh did that last week, I hate it I seem to spend hours cleaning the bits of hair up and never seem to get them all!!!

Ruby Aw bless I'm the same when it comes to the end of playgroup, seems like such a big step.

Bianca Enjoy the show, you're not a crappy mum, these things happen to all of us at some point.

Last day of school here so I need an emergency toy cull this arvo before kids notice what crappy bits of broken tat beloved toys I've thrown

So my list today is

Dog to vets to remove stitches done
Breakfast dishes done
Clean fish tank
Strip my beds and make dcs done
Car load to take to recycling & dump
Mission (better check what that is
Figure out some kind of list for cleaning zone things etc (can you tell I'm really motivated??)
Vac throughout

Catch up later

Hi everyone
Jas, Ruby, Eustacia those growing up 'babies' do make you feel emotional - you will probably not be as embarrassing as me, almost crying.
Sir Charlie what happened to you dog?
Hope the last day of term goes well for all.
We've already had ours and I found the whole week quite rushed and stressy.

This is day 16 for me - must read an email from the Flylady. What does she mean? Oh well, I'm sure I can find something.

and today I have to do my hotspots, 2 mins reminders, morning and evening routines, kelly's mission, 15 minute declutter, 5 minute room rescue, check calendar and get dressed (done), loving movement - walking to supermarket, take vits, hang out washing, put on another load because it's lovely and suneeeeeeeeeee.
And do some baking with little smallie.

TMH great to have you back Glad things are going OK so far x x Rest up and take care x

I have been and watched dd in her show (and blubbed all the way through it) How can it be that the same girl who screamed abuse at me this morning can then stand up and recite lovely things and make me v proud?

Need to get on now. I have LDC in the oven for the teachers and my first load of washing in the wm. Everywhere is a tip.

Hi TMH, good to hear that you are feeling OK. How was the hospital, were they all nice, was it nuts?
I still remember when I stayed in after an op and they started vacuum cleaning at 3AM outside my ward, with the radio on.
We are off to the shops, to buy some milk and lollies.
Bianca you sound like me.

I ahve hoovered throughout the house and tidied the kids bedrooms. The washing is on the line and there's another basket load folded but not put away yet.

No way I'm going to do anything more today, the sun is shining so I'm taking the kids to the shops for a lolly after school then to the park till supper time.

Bianca could you make muffins and give them a couple each? Or brownies or rocky road, or gingerbread or something like that?
I would go with a whole cake over slices, but it seems a bit of a tall order to have to make five whole sponge cakes.
Couldn't they share the cake, if you give it to them for the staff room?
You will be a very popular Mummy.
Scatty we are doing fish fingers too.
Have done half of my sewing for today, posted a load of ebay stuff, checked my Fly lady emails, done lunch, shopped for some food and bought a new Leap pad game - £3 at Woollies.
Now off to make the pie.
Will try to break down the remaining tasks into times and then do them all in about 30 minutes.
