Morning TMH.

I am parent helper at pre-school today. DD2 is very excited. I think I need to find a toddler group for her....I cant believe DD1 has 1 day left of pre-school!!! She has sports day on Monday.

Morning routine - basics done. Will hotspot later.

Have a good day everyone.

morning all,

sorry ive not been around all week, admitedly ive been kind off down and let the house get on top of me and have quite frankly just sat and done nothing but im feeling a lot better and am gonna get going today and do as much as i can

have got a new slow cooker so am going to make something in it for dinner (am quite excited!) from the cook book i bought.

my ds' nappies keep leaking, the child keeps pooing (he's teething) and though its not an enourmous amount it seems to come out sideways and come out of one side, dont suppose there are nappies that have more coverage on the sides are there???

well im gonna start on some housework, i'll come back on this arvo with an update.

Hope you are all well xx

Morning all

TMH Thanks for the thread. No rain here yet, forecast for lunchtime probably just as I'm taking DD to playschool. Hope you get everything up straight before monday am thinking of you.

DS's chicken pox is definately bad this time, he looks like he has 2 black eys as teh spots have made them all swell up He's being remarkably cheerful considering, helped by piriton and medised. Wish their was someone else who could take DD to playschool, I feel really guilty taking him out.

I'm having a really slow morning:

Get up done
Make bed done
Get dressed to shoes done
DC?s up done DS back to bed
Make DC?s beds
Put W/M on done
DS bottle
Check calendar
Breakfast 3 done
not DS
Wash up done
Dry up & put away done
Shine sink done
DC?s dressed
Washing out or T/D
Clean toilet ( S & S)

I'd better get moving whilst DS is asleep, he just wants gentle cuddles when he's awake.

Hope everyone has a good morning
BBL

Morning all. Sorry I was AWOL yesterday...I was having a bit of a spring clean day. Well I got all my floors decluttered, hovered and swept throughout the whole house. It would have took me half the time if DTDs didn't keep arguing/demanding attention.

They were tired and argumentative in the run up to hols (we finished last Friday), and now they are tired and argumentative cos they are going to bed later.

Anyway. I was going to take them into town this morning to get some summer shoes/sandals. But I bribed them with it to get them into bed last night, and they failed big time. So I have told them I am going to blitz the kitchen instead. BUT I have twisted my back again, so I am not sure I will be able. It is a PITA as they need the sandals by middle of next week, which means I shall have to drag them around with DP and DD3 tomorrow probably.

I created loads of washing yesterday too, which I need to plough through today.

Kilty - I find Tesco nappies pretty good. Have preferred them to Pampers and Huggies for a long while.

TMH - what are you going in for if you don't mind me asking? Is it related to all the stuff you and your family were being tested for last year?

Right I am off to start the kitchen before my 2 little brats get out of bed and want breakfast.

good morning all! how is everyone??

I'm fab this morning, just got up as lo slept in for a change rather than getting up at 5am!

Didn't manage to shine sink last night so thats first job after her brekky, then dressed, phone calls from all the paperwork i sorted past 2 days and wm on.

After that sort my bedroom out as it's worse than a kids room with stuff all over and then asda or town depending on what time insurance people come out.

Kilty we used tesco value nappies when lo was pooing lots recently as they're quite large (only do um in size 5 though) so nothing leaked out of them. Didn't give her nappy rash or anyhting but were a bit rattly when she walked. Ok if its just for a short while though if you're going through loads and haven't got a fortune to spend on them

Hi Guys

Parent helping was lovely. DD1s record of achievement thing was very good

DD2 is exhausted as she tried to keep up with everyone else so she has gone to bed with no luch!

Off to do lunch now then will do a quick tidy up downstairs.

Btw, Jas - fish and chips?
