good morning all

well so far today i have acieved nothing!! my sink didnt stay sparkly and shiny for long last night thanks to apple crumble and custard cooked at 10pm by oh so going to shine it up again after brekky pots washed in 5 then make myself beautiful for the day as per babystep2

other than that my plans for today are to strip sofa covers and wash although not going to happen if it rains as they are suede so cant tumble dry, sort insurance for fridge and cooker when the inspector person gets here from comet and declutter paperwork i think. its needed doing for ages so going to get a file for it rather than filing it on dining table

off 2 sort brekky pots n beautify myself, bbl if i get chance xx

It's sports day here today for both dd and ds so I'll be spending most of the day standing on the school field watching non-competitive sports.

Morning all

Shannara It is possible to get cp a second time if you had it very mildly the first time as it happened to dh when he was small but hope it's not for you

1-10 Hope the washers fixed soon for you it's a nightmare without one

Bianca Hope the sports day goes well, beautiful weather here so hope it's the same for you

Lucysmam Good luck with the sofa covers and apple crumble sounds lovely

Ruby I did shine my drainer last night honest guv!!!

TMH Have fun in Ikea I love that place

EV Good morning and thanks for the thread

Well scrubbing the floor hasn't done that much to be honest but there's a problem in that a small section by front door isn't actually tile is is concrete floor that was painted over So planning to scrub them again then get some terracotta paint and a glaze, sound ok?

Well today I have

Done

Beds stripped and 1 load in wash
Breakfast dishes done
Saintly deed for the day (friend crying at school gate due to being given wrong info by school about strike and had to go to work so had no childcare for son so I took him for her)
Critters fed and watered

To Do
Remake beds
Dust and vac upstairs
Meeting at work
Collect dd from school (half day)
More bed washing
Book dentist appointment for dcs
Declutter kitchen cupboard
Clean fish tank
Buy Euros for hols

Have a good day ladies

I guess in about 12 hours you will know. 20 spots is quite mild so he may have it again I guess.

I've managed to hoover everywhere downstairs, and tidied up. My bathroom is fine as I keep on top of that.

lol shannara, it wasn't great but had munchies and nothing much in atm as cupboards been packed with basics instead of any treats for anyone but lo with freezer being knackered by kitchen flood 2 weeks ago!

so far 2day ive made both beds, done pots from brekky (and apple crumble) and stripped sofa covers which r washing at the mo, just chair to do but its huge n didnt want to overfil washer as theyr quite heavy n its brand new. wouldbe just my luck to kill it by putting too much in at once.

insurance people not coming til friday now so can't even do my non-freezer shop then as its an all day call out so they wouldnt tell me a time! hope they get right address this time as they came out yesterday but went to a house in next village instead of mine for some reason!

sircharlie, you sound like you're on a mission today, huge list of things to do there, I wouldn't know where to start!

Hi everyone!
Still babystepping here. Did all the hotspots 2 mins each, laundry done and hanging out 15 minutes, washing up and swipe kitchen - about 25 mins. The assorted rehoming of things for...lost track of time.Folding clothes lost will to live.
Shined sink and washed cutlery holder.
damp dusted in sitting room for about 20mins
Put all the cushions back on clean cushion covers and put away clean towels.
Got dressed and make up.
Now it's lunch time and I haven't decided what to have for tea - probably something veggie for a change.
Jas and TMH thank you for the input on decluttering. No clutter at all, lucky you TMH.
I think I will be doing what you do Jas, putting it back and then returning later.
Some of my stuff is from when I was studying, and I'm afraid to get rid, in case I need it for a job interview. Really loved some of my lectures, and I want to have the notes.
Will probably have to select a bunch of papers and spend the 15 minute de clutter going through.
Will do 15 minute declutter later, think I will do one of my bookshelves - the most ridiculously teetering one.
We are off out for a big walk and popping into some shops on the way.
Off for a sandwich now.

Afternoon

DD dropped off at nursery, thank goodness, she was in a really annoying mood all morning.
Went into town, boots pharmasist confirmed DS has chicken pox. Hopefully they will all have scabbed up by tuesday when we have dd's family farm day at playschool.

Really should do some FLYing but I think I will give DS a cuddle and watch night garden instead.

Have a good afternoon everyone

HELLO ALL Haven't had chance to read the thread so soory if I missed anything.

I went for a job interview but didn't have enough experience so I've pulled myself up and contacted a Head who I've worked for before and asked if I can volunteer a couple of times per week. She said yes so I'll do that in the autumn.

Got a huge chest of soilid pine drawers from the junk shop for £70. Summer will be sanding, stripping and waxing

Better collect the Ed. BBL
