morning ev thanks for thread.
I had a great time at cinema lastv night, wont say anything about the film as i see from yesterdays thread others are off to see it soon, all i will say is its great i havent laughed so much in ages i wan tto see it again!
lots to do today as i've done nothing all week

to do
tidy
hoover
dust
wash up
empty washer
get dd up
get dc dressed
breakfast
make ds lunch
missions (havent done any of this weeks so catch up)
go to visit a childminder about dc starting in sept
s&s bathroom
make beds

i have started making the phone calls i needed to do ( i mnetioned earlier on the week).
i have been told i can (possibly) do my placement for next year in a childrens centre near where i used to live. i have to go and look round and chat to the lady who does that bit a week tuesday. i need to think about what i want to get out of the placement ( a pass for my course? presume she means more than this ) befre i go and make a good impression chatting to her. she'll then tell me what she would expect someone at my qual. level to do and see how goes from there. very nervous its like a job interview and i havent done one of those for nearly 10 years! just making the call to ask was bad enough.
still i think i've sorted out most of my things that need organising.
best stop rambling and do something now...

Morning

Finally I get a whole day at home to try to catch up with various jobs which need doing - ie everything!

I just don't seem to have any decent lengths of time at home these days...in fact as I write this I have remembered that I really ought to head to the nearest town this morning to run a couple of errands.

I feel sooo out of touch with you all. I have no chance of keeping up these days I hope everyone is well?

Maybe I'll pop to town first thing, I should be able to be home again by 10.30/11ish and then still have a few hours to try to reclaim the house from the mess.

BAck later x

Morning routine almost done and I dont need to do the mission as I did it earlier in the week.

I am going to set to on the ironing and decluttering my bedroom at lunchtime, when DS2 is napping and DS1 at Preschool

Back again

Morning routine finaly done, including removing chalky hand prints from sink, bath and new clean towels. DS is asleep, will do the hoovering when he wakes up or carpet sweeper if I'm feeling lazy

Bianca nice to see you managed to pop in. The threads are definately getting big, with lots of newbies great but difficult to keep track of.
scattyspice how old is DS tomorrow and what is the party involving?
TMH hope DS1 is feeling ok.
kitty DD had an eye op earlier this year so I can sympathises will the eye drop screaming, took two of us to pin her down 4 times a day.
It's lovely to get out of the non attractive maternity / feeding bras and a good excuse to get some new sexy, matching underwear.

DD is falling asleep on my lap so will BBL.

i'm back from the childminder, she seems very nice dd was happy playing with her boys
am gonna go back and visit again next week when dd isnt so grumpy, she tired today i had trouble waking her for the school run, and when her dad ist working as he wants to be involved in the choice this time. we have a visit next friday with a different minder as well. then have to choose which
i now just have to figure out the money, as i have to pay my months notice with my current childminder and this one wants a retainer (which i understand) so = lots of money going out when not much coming in.
ho hum something will work out
must get on with FLYing now desperately need to do some housework today, typical as weather is nicest its been all week

Morning.
I really need to get some clearing up done today (as usual!). It isn't too bad but still lots to get done.

I think DD1 wants to go to a disco tonight. It is for the carnival to choose a prince and princess for the parade in October. I know she won't let me leave her there though so i will have to stay. Winners are picked out of a hat so anyone could win.

Am at how well this is doing on Ebay. That will add a few £s to holidays fund. Hope the rest sells too. Even if we just have money for days out i will be happy.

kilty - lie her down and get her to shut her eyes. Put eye drop in the inner corner of eye (with eyes shut) then ask her to open her eyes and blink as much as she can and she can run around screaming if she likes (good distraction). most of the drop will end up in her eye, I promise.

Morning ALL

Seems to be tipping it down here

OK, DONE so far

Up
Down with crockery
Go out an find the 'Hidden milk* (we've been having it nicked )
Start breakfast (porridge hence the need for milk)
Load dishwasher and run
Up and showered
Ed up and saying he's 'still poorwly'
Downstairs to give him his 'special powidge'
Empty DW
Put away
Get him up and washed
Get dressed
Fish oil, nit repellant, calpol administered
Get his bags together
Walk him to school
Home
Phone calls to find out public transport info
Get Ed's stuff ready for rugby training this evening
Get stuff ready for tomorrow's seaside trip

Yeah, we're on a family trip to the east coast courtesy of Surestart. I've dug out the old baby change bag (biggest we have and a rucksack) and loaded it with binoculars, bird spotting guides, magnifying glasses, kagoules and sorted out a stack of towels and clothes for the day. Should be fun (I hope)

Last night I went to a gig. It was really really fab. Good loud rock and roll and good guiness It was my b'day pressy from BIL and a sound choice TBH.

Hopefully the chap is coming round soon to measure up for a new porch. Our's is looking very dilapidated. Better tidy round.

ruby hope all goes well and you get a job you want- are you children like my ds, he's totally not impressed that i'm not always home and he'll have to go to childcare a couple of days a week. he keeps asking why i cant just stay home like some of his friends mums do- answer cant afford it
why cant you just childmind again- cos flats too small and i have enough trouble getting your sis up and down the stairs so no way could i do that with another tot.

Anyway, Feeling pleased with myself as went shopping today and bought presents for DDs pre-school teachers for end of term. Little packs of notelets/envelopes in posh box for £4 each. Also got the DDs some t-shirts for 75p each in the sale. And couldnt resist pound shop so got 3 small storage baskets for toys and one bigger one for the stairs as I am sick of piles collecting.

The TV has died.
DC's and DP will be traumatised with no TV. I will read a book, in peace with no CBeebies or Simpsons in the background.
Was about to watch This Morning though since both dc's are asleep. Might as well get teh hoover out, TV sound lasted just long enough for me to do the thigh trainer with the video.

Hope everyone else is having a good morning.

Tiger The cable went down last week and Ed was bereft. I told him he had toys, games, activities and books and as the weather was OK we could sort out his tomato plants. He just sat wailing in the porch whining for his 'precious television'...My son maybe Golum! ...He eventually helped by filling the tubs with compost for me.

Ruby Good Luck with the job app. Ed has told his learning mentor that I do 'Washing' and 'ironing' ({hmm] cheers kiddo). I've got a job interview on Wednesday so lets share some vibes
