I don't know. I bought a new keyboard yesterday and found them by accident. No one else seemed to have them so I'm showing off!

Good Morning FLY peeps

Get you with your fancy wiggly thing jas You'll have the whole of MN trying to do it, LOL!!

GO I actually like the sound of a Spatchcocked chicken....I might give it a go next time we have one. It gives me indijestion though for some reason!? (lettuce does too...very weird)

Good luck if you go to the meet up shouldbe Hope you have fun.

Tort strangely enough, I don't particularly want mine to go back to school either, we have had fun this holiday, and considering the crap weather they have done loads!!

HN haven't seen you for a bit. Hope you are ok. I read you had fallen and were resting up again. Big {{{HUGS}}}to you. I really hope you are feeling better xx

Ok....

My main missions today..
~Clean the oven I hate it...but it really needs doing
~Also the Fridge really needs cleaning out
~Take the tent down, before we get rain
~Today's mission
......there was something else I had thought of whilst sleeping 'neath the sheets.....can't think of it now for the life of me!! I know it wasn't a particularly pleasent job .... I'll remember hopefully.

lol at Jas and her wiggles!

I'm another who isn't looking forward to back to school time - we've had fun over the summer.
I'm still trying to decide about the meet up - dd was awake in the night saying she had tummy ache and although she wasn't ill it's made me wonder if she'll be OK to go (she's still asleep) Ds woke up feeling hot too (and is also still asleep) I hope they're good to go and that I feel up to the drive etc when the time comes

I'll look at the mission etc when we get home

shouldbe Well done.

BigBear That is exactly why I hate housework and need these threads to keep me motivated. It is the same stuff all the time, people only notice when it isn't done and no one thanks you for it.
At least if I put a big list of stuff here and then do it all, someone will notice and say well done, and I can see it and feel that I have achieved something.

OMG! My mother is on her way! Panic over! It's alright she's bringing pasties!
My challenge today is to get this house in a respectable state for her to come here. So will be doing the crisis cleaning as well today. Won't be on here for the next couple of days as I will be enjoying my boys birthdays. I'm feeling old

should be that's amazing. How have you done it? I need to lose about a stone, but am too fond of a little drinkie in the evening and chocolate puds and crisps.

jas I said to my DH that I'd been busy doing housework all day yesterday and I don't think he even bothered to reply. May have grunted inaudibly .

Am planning ahead for the holiday as we are going away for a week with my parents, and it will be the first time we've been abroad since our honeymoon. So want somewhere good!

Hiya Ruby glad you had a good time away.
They do a small version of the OM diary too I think....

Yeh...here it is

It looks good actually... I have been debating getting one, I'm waiting for my calender to arrive. I'm also hoping the calender starts this year...it says it starts in september...so I hope they mean september this year

Anyhoo...
~Oven Cleaned PHEW!!!!!!

I have just ordered it (you see this is what happens when I have too much time to think about it!!) It looks easier to fit in a bag, but still plenty of room to jot down what I'm doing.

...also says it starts in september...it must be this september otherwise that would be madness to have to wait until next september

House clean and tidy

3 mins to spare before they arrive !

Can I have a round of applause please

I am knackered !

Have looked at those organised thingy wotsits .. they're lovely but knowing me I'd get bored after 3 weeks and it would end up stuffed in the back of a cupboard !

I just use a longline month calender with a single line for each day and jot stuff down on there.. mind you with ds's (age 5 and a half social life booming he now really needs one of his own .. ended up having to treble book playdates over the holidays!! )

WHOOP WHOOP...

Well done yadd

I'm hoping to not put mine in the back of a cupboard...I'm a new and organised mum now (I even have to go to meetings for schools and such like....now my kids are at school/nursery)...ludaloo looks like she is trying to convince herself of this!

Tenetatively looking at Flylady as determined to be more effective at housework. MN need to invent very scared smiley face.

First day question question - Does it matter if there is a huge pile of washing up beside the shiney sink?
