I am really struggling with the volume of clothes in my house! I can’t work out what is normal and even though I have got rid of a lot of clothes recently I swear to god they seem to be continually multiplying.
I have one large wardrobe (about a metre wide) and a narrower one to myself, plus 3 chest of drawers - standard size. If you know the Pax and Malm range in IKEA that’s my bedroom.... and then I have some boxes on top of the wardrobe with scarves/fancy dresses and fancy lingerie. I do vacuum sac my seasonal wear so that goes up the attic, but I can’t get over how I have two loads of washing on the go and my wardrobe and drawers are absolutely bursting. I am in a tricky situation where I am trying to lose weight so I have clothes that are a bit too big for me and clothes I am waiting to get into so I guess I have more clothes than I would usually have... but honestly... how do you police your wardrobe to stay in control? How many jumpers/jeans do you operate with? I feel like getting used to a capsule wardrobe would be less stressful.... And maybe I don’t need 10 sets of pyjamas but I really like them all?
Am feeling totally useless! Please someone give me a good shake and some advice about decluttering!
