@ Jas.

I did this afternoon yesterday as I tried to stop DD2 crawling to our shoes and trying to eat them.

Morning Jas, glass and all who follow

at your dd2 being 8mths already glass where has the time gone?!

Are you away for the weekend Jas? (have I missed you telling us that?)

I've been up since early making a super-hero costume for dd to wear to her holiday club today. She has a cape and a mask and I've talked her into wearing her pants over her shorts she looks great (even in I do say so myself)

I need to run the hoover round today and do some other basics. The ironing from yesterday is still in its basket on the landing so I need to put that away too.
My hallway is reasonably clear so I'm probably OK to leave the mission. The utility room (coat cupboard and general dumping ground) is awful though so I may try to spend some time in there.

Have a good day all. Lovely and sunnny again here today

Morning ladies

jas your double posting does make me !

Thank you shouldbe

DD2 has woken up and opened her pressies. She is currently sat on her new Fifi Trike (not going anywhere...just sitting on it!)

DD1 looks horrendous! her rash has got really bad. It is every where! she even has spots on her lips, palms and her feet!! She is very upset as she doesn't want anyone to see her I've had to give her some extra special attention today as she is such a sorry state bless her.

Ds is hyper...already! keeps jumping about and battering everyone with balloons (bloody things...you always forget how annoying balloons are don't you!)

Anyway, we all have to get dressed and I have the food and house to prepare.

Hope you all have a good day

xxxxxx

Poor dd1 Luda, I hope she's able to enjoy the day.
It's good that your dd2 is having fun sitting on her new bike (and your ds is too by the sounds of it!)

I've put a pic of my dd in her cape on my profile page (sorry about the poor quality - it was taken on my mobile!)

I need to get off my backside and do something but can't be bothered. We've been invited on an outing this weekend which will involve over an hours drive and I'm already feeling very worried about it. It's bad enough for me to consider pulling out and staying at home

sb I love the cape!! Well done you

why are you worried about driving if you dont mind me asking?

Ive had my mother on the phone all morning, we was expected up there this weekend, we usually leave fri but because Im going out tonight we was gonna head up in the morning, accept we are a bit short on cash. She's said she will give us £40 when we get there but wants us to go tonight so I dont know what to do!

Hello to all. Aufish Thanks for your reply on the thread yesterday. It's okay, you are forgiven for not calling in for a cup of tea as you were hours away from me! I'm glad you had a good time.

Happy birthday to luda's dd2 and get well soon to dd1. And calm down vibes to her ds! He is a very cute little chap.

shouldbe Sorry to hear that the anxiety is bothering you again. I hope everything works out for you today and this weekend.

I still have most of the list from yesterday but I think we might have found ourselves an au pair from Sept to Dec, so that is something. If she replies favourably to my most recent e-mail and can get flights sorted then it's just the room to get ready. (Help!)

To do:-
~ put washing on line
~ write a list of clothes needed for holiday
~ write a list of self catering bits that I can't be without for holiday
~ ironing
~ ring furniture shop
~ send parcel to Tesco
~ ring Lakeland
~ collect dd at 1pm
~ collect ds at 4pm (that's an hour gone with those last two things!)

Thanks Julez Dd likes the outfit too. I get the most awful anxiety when going anywhere beyond my "patch"...have been doing loads better lately but this outing at the weekend is on roads I don't know, to a place I don't know and it's well and truely set off all my worries again ...I'm expected to go, it'll be very awkward to pull out of going... will have to go and hope I can manage.
Did you say you were on facebook btw?...[desperate for friends emotion] must try to identify more people on there....

Simply I'm off to find your email now. I hope this au pair works out

I've hoovered downstairs.
Wrapped a couple of presents (sorry Luda, parcel to dd2 going in post today!)
..erm...and that's it. Very slack morning!

See you later x

Ok, so in the spirit of entrance hall and front porch I got a dustpan & brush and swetp all the cobwebs from my front door, windows and garage door while DD was outside playing. Very difficult with DD2 on hips but I managed it.

Now I'm hot and tired from a very long day....DD2 whining. DD1 whining.

Hi all.
Happy birthday to Luda's DD2. Glad you had a good day. Hope DD1 is feeling better. My DD2 wants a fifi scooter! probably getting one tomorrow with birthday money.

Shouldbe Love dd's outfit . hope your anxiety doesn't get too bad.

I have had a better day today! Got most of a bush in the garden cut back. need to do the other side but weeds/brambles need clearing 1st. Might do more in a min!
had a quick water fight with DC before DS's went off to their Dads at 5. Just DD's and i here for the weekend.

Luda I'm pleased the party went well The sparkles arrived today (the post round here is really up the creak at the moment) thank you so much Have fun camping!
tort your parcel arrived today too - ds loves it, thank you

We still have the bouncy castle here from our party earlier in the week, the guy suggested we keep it till tonight for a small extra fee It's been great but it does mean we've had loads of kids round every afternoon! My two are exhausted now and will hopefully be asleep in good time tonight.

The house has stayed tidy cos everyone has been outside enjoying bouncing and playing in the garden

Have a good evening everyone, esp julez off on your girls night out
