Where can I buy bedlinen for a small double bed ?

I have just bought a new bed for my almost 15 years old - it’s a small double bed - there are not much difference between a double bed and a small double bed but still ! I don’t seem to find any bedsheets specific to small double bed ! Thank you :)

On line or Dunelm Mill. Having said that, I would just buy regular double as the buggers all shrink & also if you have a deep mattress they won't really fit anyway. Just tuck a fitted double sheet under the mattress a bit further.

I'd just buy normal size sheets too and not pay the premium for small double. Buy flat sheets, not fitted and tuck them in.

I asked this and everyone said just use normal double bedding and they were right. It fits fine and the duvet is a extra cosy.

I bought a small double for my 19yo DS . I used his previous stretch jersey double sized sheets ( Lidl bargain) , he has a deep mattress , protector and topper so it fits nicely .

My kids university halls have the small doubles. I spent a fortune on the sheets from amazon. They were so expensive but such poor quality. We found that primark sheets are a perfect fit.

You only really need the fitted mattress cover and the fitted sheet to fit correctly on a small double.I have bought them on eBay!! Then just used a normal double quilt and cover I still just use two pillows. Looks fine. Then on my double bed I use a king duvet and on my own king I use a super king I like them bigger then the bed.

My ds had a small double at uni in his first year. I bought the fitted sheets from Dunelm. At home he has a standard double and this year hes in a shared house with a standard double. So it was a bit of a waste for one year.

DS has a small double at uni - I bought the sheets from The Linen Cupboard online. He sued his double duvet and it was fine.

They were good enough to hand on to a friend’s DS, together with the (essential for a bed in uni halls) small double mattress topper as they were excellent quality.

If u are putting on a topper on the mattress and a mattress protector then I would try a normal double sheet.
