Bore da pawb. Good morning all.

Thanks for the thread EHM. I winced when I saw the time you were up to create it, though! I hope you get the chance to have a rest today to make up for your early start. Thanks for saying hello despite me being only being on MN a few days a week.

Jas Thanks for your e-mail. I'll reply as long as our internet connection behaves.

luda Will catch up with you if I can today.

Right. I have to stay in all day for the boiler man to come and service the boiler. It's my usual "empty the utility room, have a good sort out and clean" time again as I need to give him plenty of space to work. Ds is home from school as he has pulled a muscle in his back and it is very painful. No football tournament for him on Sat or music lessons until it is better. I'm going to dry my hair now and crack on with jobs. No washing machine useage until after the chap has been, though, so that will have to wait until later or tomorrow. See you later!

Morning all

simply hope your poor ds recovers soon - back pain is awful I think I need a boiler man to come and need to work in our utility room...would force me into tidying it!
EHM The week you suggested is pretty busy (last few days of school term) but I'll check out some dates and get back to you

Ds has another afternoon at school today which he is very excited about Then I have a couple of dds friends coming over to play after school.

The rest of the day is reserved for ironing/laundry/wardrobes so I'd better crack on, see you later

Morning all !!

EHM you where up with the birds too!! I was up at 5am today worrying about the rain!! (we are meant to be having a new roof! Not exactly the weather for it lol

tort I love your pics!!

Aufish - enjoy your DD's play

simply your poor ds, hope he recovers soon.

WAVES to everyone else!

I have DS1 (5yrs) at home today, was meant to be his sports day, i was worrying myself silly this morning over whether to send him in his uniform or his sports kit, I opted for sports kit and when i got to school everyone was in uniform! I thought bugger it sports day is cancelled, he can have a day off naughty mummy!

Builders didnt make any mess at all in the house yesterday which Im quite relieved at. They wont be here today cos its peeing down which is annoying. Me n baby went off to swansea town centre and I had a lovely afternoon, strolling round the empty shops, it was great. We had lunch at debenahams where the lovely serving lady carried my tray for me cos I had the pram to push. got home around 2pm

I have however got loads of flying to do today, My auntie is arriving tomorrow night to look after the kids for me saturday night whilst we go to ascot.

Off to have breakfast then I will be back with list

Thanks EHM Ds can't wait to go up to school so is sure to have fun this afternoon And I get an extra couple of hours on my own too.

My ironing is done
I have put away kids clothes but am leaving dh and my clothes cos I'd like to have a quick sort out of our wardrobe (if I can be bothered) this afternoon....spending time in the garden may be more tempting though....

Going to have a quick whizz round to maintain all the FLYing I did earlier in the week then need to collect ds from pre-school, give him a quick lunch and get him to school.
See you later

shouldbe You are doing well! Good on you! Perhaps you could give me a bit of a boost. The boiler man has now gone and I've promised ds a fry up (i.e. grill up!) for lunch and he is hungry. Trouble is, I'm used to him cooking with me and agghh I'm going to have to do it myself! I know, I know. Lazy mare! Will get on and do lunch now and then tackle cleaning the shoe racks to put the utility room to rights again.

Hi everyone

I have been at toddler group all morning, so I have just got in. I've dropped Ds off at work with Dh so I shall have a quick tidy round and then make some lunch.

I have just realised we are going away next week!!! It crept up very quickly! We are off to a wedding and are staying with sister-in law for a few days. So Much to do!!!

I've just booked to have my hair cut, my friend is doing my nails, and I have to find shoes!

I haven't been quite as organised as I should have been!

The girls will need a trim too! I will have to get organised!

I haven't had a chance to catch up so I'll just say hello to you all! Hope all are ok

Hello just here quickly as I need to get organised for the show. I have just finished a 2 hour ironing session and am putting my feet up. I need to go and wake my other half up in a minute and get him sorted for the play. Got to school this morning to discover a bunch of morons have gone in a destroyed the new junior quiet area in the playground which was due to be reopened on Monday. Am totally gutted for the kids. Alot of work and money has gone into it and now its destroyed, could have cried this morning when I saw it.

Julez you've been busy

Better get ds ready for school, he's keen to scooter there but I'm not sure there's time today so he may be disappointed. Looking forward to another couple of child-free hours, during which I may just sit on my clean sofa in my tidy living room

Feck Feck Feck.

This morning we realised why the cat has brought so many mice in.

He hasnt.

They have been living in our understairs cupboard and he has been a super-cat and killing them for us.

Leading to everything coming out from under the stairs, carpet ripped out and DH needing to fill a couple of holes tonight (where they've been getting in). It has made me decide only first aid kit, shoes & bags will be kept in the cupboard now and all the other tat will go in the garage. sigh.

Glass I had to smile when I read your post, sorry. I tend to have a saintly image of people (I don't know why) and to "hear" you saying "Feck" Father Ted style tickled me! I needed it, too. We're trying to find a good au pair for us come Sept and a brilliant one found us first but she is likely to be snapped up by a London family. I knew she was a top candidate as she speaks fluent English and French (is French) and excellent German which is exactly what we want. She is going to start a degree course in the UK in Oct. Trouble is, she wants to come now whereas we don't have much work available for her until end Aug so other families are probably a better bet for her. Another one we thought sounded great (she actually specifically wanted to come to Wales) hasn't logged onto the site for a fortnight and hasn't responded to my e-mails. She spotted us first and added us to her Favourites, btw. What a palaver! Sorry for the rant. Will go and do some more housework, I think.

Thanks for your e-mail luda.
