Best place to buy affordable cotton bedlinen?

Hullabalooo · 12/07/2018 08:59

Got rid of all my bedding after leaving horrible ex. I need to buy it all again but money is tight.

Can anyone recommend where to buy new cotton bedlinen which feels like good quality but won't break the bank?

Sorry your relationship has broken down. 💐

I often get good bargains at places like TK Maxx although just bought a lovely set at laura Ashley 50% off plus another 10% off all sale stuff and it's lovely. Good time to be looking with all the sales on!

Happy shopping

I'd forgotten about sales and also tk maxx.. good point. I'll check these out. Just wanted to get rid of anything he'd touched..

Have just bought a load from Dusk which I’ve really liked. Good quality and wash well

Ikea do a good range - some of the very cheap ones feel bad quality but I've had some really nice cotton bedding from there. It washes and wears well and you can get away with not ironing it.

Soak and sleep. Brilliant range. Lovely cottons and linen. Amazing sale bargains. If no home sense has so very good bargains too

Ikea patterns can be a fit random, some of the fabrics are lovely .
I bought a Primark 100% cotton fitted sheet today (KS) £11.50.
Just washed it so it'll go on tomorrow .
Feels nice and thick.

My ultimate sheets were Egyptian cotton from Costco , bit wrinkly but sooo soft . Cannot remember how much they cost , it was a while back and I'm always tempted when I go there .

I’ve bought some really lovely bedding from Asda recently. 100% cotton and really reasonable. I was delighted!!

M and S in the sale. I bought an expensive fitted sheet from John Lewis and it shrank. The M and S one didn't.

Don't know if it's your thing but have a look on bargainbeddings.co.uk I get mine from there, most of the time I can even find the reason for them getting rid of it. Had towels too.

@mrsoutnumbered, yes it is some of the best I have found for vaule of money. I don't normally shop in there for clothes but home stuff is good.

YY to Primark. I generally avoid it for clothing but one of my most used sets is one of theirs. Washes well and super comfy.

Wilko best 300 thread is excellent too.

Primark are great.
I've also had good bedding from Asda. Duvet sets tend to be polycotton but sheets are great.
IKEA do great cotton, just check size carefully. My white sets from there were cheap and feel fantastic on the bed.

My nicest cotton bedding is from Asda of all places. White sets, washes beautifully, looks great several years later.
