I’ve had a few over the years but never been blown away. Is it actually possible to get one that’s really good especially for large areas.

I have a shark. It's brilliant.

I also have a shark one not impressed either. I have gone back to a mop does the job better!

My current one is a shark, been ok but it’s on its last legs. Won’t buy another though.

Ive had two steam mops and Ive just gone back to the traditional mop and bucket. They are over priced and don't get into the corners.

I have a Russel Hobbs one and it's great. No elbow grease needed and it gets my floors cleaner and shinier than anything else. I think it was £30-£35, so much cheaper in the long run when you add up how much you spend on new mop heads and floor cleaner. I'd rather swipe over one part of the floor three time to get a stain up than scrub for ages with a mop head and have a some sticky bits stuck to the rope bits. And a lot easier than having to empty the mop bucket, fill the mop bucket, add floor cleaner, constantly have to rinse and ring out and then just push dirt around.

We have a karcher, much better than our previous one
