Forgot to rinse descaler from steriliser.

I'm not sure I'm posting in the right place so apologies if not.

Looking for advice/reassurance.
I used boots descaler in electric steriliser but fell asleep and forgot to rinse and run cycle. Partner then put bottles straight in to sterilise. Has anyone ever done the same?

Just wondering if the descaling solution would be harmful to baby if residue on bottles?

Hoping someone can help or advise.

I would re-sterilise. I wouldn’t take the chance.
