We had one that was in the house when we bought it on plan. It was useless. Had to empty half the contents of the drum to dry so could wash 6kg but could only dry 3kg. Plus I'd have to run it for at least 4-6 hours to dry max two or three towels. It was only good for underwear occasionally.

We now have got a decent washer and a Lakeland heated airer. Pricey but it's been worth every penny it's absolutely brilliant!

This was my post from a few months ago. Some people had some good recommendations - To give up on a washer dryer?

We have a Bosch one and it's great. I think people often compare to two separate machines but if that's just not possible a washer dryer can be great. We've had 3 in different houses.
