Found this on the floor by my bed this morning. My housemate had a bedbug infestation a couple of months ago (think we got rid of them and didn't spread to my room). So had the shock of my life when I saw this and had plans to burn the house down! Just got home and he says it's not a bedbug. Do you think he's right? And if so, what is it?

Can you turn it over? Our shield bugs in France don't look like that.

Upside down. A bit blurry. Did a search of shield bugs and apparently there are different types.

Definitely not a bedbug. I say this from personal painful experience.

Thank you all so much for resting my mind. Nightmares tonight and a few months of bedbug military action avoided!

Help please . If that's not the best year for us going to the multiple difficulties homelessness because we got affected our private rent that was when life is good .we just move to this temporary accommodation my daughters room has the bedbugs i've reported. They done the first treatment.
But this is killing me and my children up bitten everywhere they can't sleep at night they have school the next day.difficult to get them out of bed in the morning because of the restlessness overnight.

The company that came to tweeted gave us instructions not to Hoover or mop the house for the next treatment.

Is there anything that would get very quickly?

Happy could you buy plastic bed protector sheet and then use a cotton sheet on top? The bed bugs won't be able to go through the plastic sheet. Also vacuum your mattress
