New cooker ideas recommendations please

I am gearing up to get a new cooker. Old one is gas, have always had gas cookers I like the control on them. But I really hate cleaning the hob! Always catching fingers on those little metal posts the supports sit on and having to take off all the burners and wash them.
I know newer electric and gas cookers are much better but which one to go for? It needs to slip in between the units so no big fancy jobs ( I wish😀)

What's the difference between all the different types of electric ones? Which have best heat control, best ovens and easiest to keep clean etc?
If someone recommends a gas one will definatly check it out though.

Fan oven - double if possible - and induction hob. We have just replaced a single electric fan oven and gas hob with an electric induction range. It is so fast to heat up and the hob only needs a wipe over; no fiddly bits.
