Best storage tips

I keep the house fairly decluttered but at the expense of the garage...I can no longer safely get to the tumble drier and so I am on a mission to sort it out. What do you keep where? There's quite a lot of bulky items in the garage such as suitcases, cat box, spare dining chairs, books, car bike rack, toys that have been outgrown but I'd like to keep, as well as all the gardening stuff, outside toys, bikes etc.
My best tip I came across today is to store spare wall and floor tiles behind the kick boards in the kitchen..am definitely going to do this one!
