I am a proper hoarder. I hold into things just in case, all the time. It's not stuff like newspapers or containers or random stuff like that. More like books, toys, clothes etc.
I have wanted to live more minimally for ages. I would like more clear space and to actually see what we have, and not just see stuff everywhere.
I have made a start. I am so pleased. I've bought those huge plastic storage tubs with lids, and I've packed up seven massive ones, and bagged up loads of clothes. Ive put missing parts of toys together, and mDe sure that sets are complete. Ive also chucked loads. It has taken two of us about 6 hours. My friend has come to collect it (she couldn't get it all in the car) and she is going to sell it for me. Done of the stuff is still in cellophane or still has tags on, brand new. We are going 50-50 on the proceeds.
So I've had a clear out and I'm going to make some cash. I am so happy! And I'm inspired to keep going. It's taken me ages to start but now i feel that I can keep going. My storage room/shed now has less than half what it used to have in there and is properly organised.
