Anyone restored old quarry tiles?

We've taken up the ceramic tiles on our kitchen floor to find the (we think) original quarry tiles underneath. Wee've managed to get most of them up intact, and I'm now wondering if I can restore them use them in the house anywhere.

Can't use them in the kitchen as they were only on 1 half of the floor (not on the extension).

They are about 15 x 15cm and at least an inch thick. Red and black.

Some have come out well, while others caked in concrete.

Any ideas on how to get the concrete off? Dp and I have been chipping away all day!
