Trying to decide whether to stitch or on labels.. please help me cheat and iron on by confirming that they can be removed somehow!

They can! I did it last week. You put greaseproof/baking paper on top, hot iron and then use your fingernail to peel them off. Mine came off very easily but imagine me scratching them off rather than peeling offinone piece.

Get the stick on ones! Then you don't even have to get the iron out.

I've found they last a few months but I just keep a pack for each child in the laundry room and stick a new one on as needed. So it's takes about 10 seconds instead of having to get the iron out, switch it on, wait for it to heat up etc....

I've been struggling with the iron on ones (getting them off I mean) and have figured out that if you soak them in water and then iron on hot through the greaseproof paper they can be scraped off - the glue goes kind of gungy then. Just ironing on its own didn't work for me.
