DD was sick last night and it has soaked though on to her feather pillow.

Has anyone got any tips for getting it clean again.

THanks in Advance

you can put it in the machine, funnily enough.
i had the same scenario a while back and was so stressed out that i just thought, bugger it, if its ruined its ruined, ill just buy another... so put it in the machine to see, and voila! clean fresh feather pillow.
cant remember if i tumble dried or not tho...

THank you.

Will try it now.

She will need to have a different pillow tonight as it is unlikely to be dry intime.

yeah... i got pillow protectors after that particular bout of D&V, that way, can take that off stick it in wash, put new one and cover on and use again straight away...

also, if it still reeks of sick in her room, try sprinkling bicarbonate of soda on the offending bit (mattress, carpet, whatever) and then with a damp, but not dripping sponge, wipe over and off.... kills smell instantly. blinkin miracle it is...

We have cheap Matalan duvets and pillows for DS1 who is almost 4, that way when he leaks through his nappy etc I can just bung it in the wash and as they are sooooo cheap I have 2 sets so he has a fresh set to go on.

Same goes for duvet covers, he has a fab rocket one but if anything happens to that in the night I have cheap navy blue one, BOGOF job from trusty old Argos.
