Morning all,

I'm not doing well at FLYing lately, but still not quite as bad as my preFLYdays
I've also not kept up with threads, so welcome newbies, get well soon for sickies, and good luck to the dieters!

Bedroom is ok, all surfaces were done earlier, the only mission not attempted is under the bed, so I will try.

morning people, well i havnt been around all week as my sodding internet company cut us off (their fault, they werent taking payments via my direct debit) and then took 3 days to reconnect! i was/am fuming!

anyway, havnt been flying but have been doing the normal s+s and trying to get my sink shined, but dh has started washing up but hasnt yet managed the art of shining, i may have to teach him!

well dd has now run out of disposable nappies and we are into terries! ds will go into them tomorrow when his disposables run out! Hopefully wont cause too much more washing! but saying that theres been 2 days htis week i havn't managed to find any washing!

hello everyone, I'm v pleased as coped with both dds on my own last night.

dd2 fell asleep in my arms at 9pm. i took her up at 10pm and she woke the minute i put her in the moses basket. 20min feed then i put her in her basket and she chatted for 10 mins then went to sleep! (first time without being held.rocked etc). she woke at 2.00 and had a 15 min feed and i put her back in the basket and she fell asleep on her own again. same at 5.45. i cant quite believe it!!!!

i've not been flying well either jelley so have just cleaned my sink and will resolve to do today's mission.

Hi all
Thanks for mission jelley

Will give house a quick clean this morning, do the mission and then head out with ds2 for a swim.

Hope everyone is well and all having a good day today.

Tortoise, here's some meal ideas (didn't get a chance to post again last night, sorry! Good luck for today, I will try to post my points total later)

  • Chicken stirfry plus 3tbs boiled rice (normally around 6-8 pts depending on type of stirfry sauce used, I like the Blue Dragon spicy tomato sachets or could just use soy plus pinch of five-spice powder)
  • Pork chops (5pt for loin chop), oven chips (3pts) and 2 heaped tbsp peas (1pt)
  • Baked or grilled Chicken breast (2.5pts), roasted veg (1pt for olive oil, veg is free) and baby potatoes (0.5 pts each)
  • Veg chilli and rice (about 6 pts for huge portion including 1tbsp of grated cheese on top)
  • Veg curry (recipe and pts in switch handbook)
  • Fishfingers (1pt each) or lowfat pork sausages (0.5pt each if thin, or 1.5 if thick), mashed potato (1pt per scoop) and beans (1pt per heapedtbsp), gravy (0.5pt)
  • gammon steak (6pts), new potatoes or oven chips, and peas (pts as before)
  • homemade pork mince meatballs, about 5 pts (pork, finely chopped onion, seasoning and flour), grilled mushrooms and tomato (0pts), med portion rice (3pts)
  • Large jacket potato (4 pts) plus fillings (eg beans and cheese, tuna..don't forget to point!), sidesalad or veg(0pts)

Speak to you all later

Hi MadameSleepsLessAndLess I do sympathise with the sleep deprivation. Ds was a disaster. Dd, thankfully, born 15mths after ds, was much much better.

I've been doing a bit of ironing, a bit of tidying, a bit of bedmaking and have sold the bed we had in the paper. I hope to get it to the chap tomorrow and then we can put the bed from the spare bedroom into dd's room and get it sorted. I bought her door beads for her birthday (yuck!) as she wanted them so much, so perhaps they will go up. We've also got a (belated) birthday lunch and small party on Sun, so I'm going to be busy this w/e.

JustIvor · 23/02/2007 13:14

You're doing well rolloneaster. The thing that makes the biggest difference to my morning is when I get showered, dressed and do my hair before coming downstairs. It means that I don't needlessly fuss over ds and dd so they get their own breakfast and I don't do so much housework that I'm running late for work as a result. Once I'm dressed ready for work I just do the basics and get off to try to beat the traffic and find a parking space.

Hello everyone

Back from our trip to Newtown...the campervan went safe and sound!

I have had to take dd2's car seat out to wash (big leaky nappy )Huggies nappies always get fat and leak! I much prefer Pampers...actually most Home Brands fair better than huggies IMO!
It also needs the straps adjusting...she's getting so big!!!

Well I have washing to hang, dinner to make, kitchen to tidy, d/w to unload and reload...
(Grrrrr )
I just want to sit and have a nice glass of wine!

tort Thanks very much, they arrived today ....I need those post bags you have!!(usually make do with a black bag and lots of tape! (as you know!!)Your address sticker is cute too...dd1 has it on her jumper!!!

Hi Ruby.

I don't know if I've done as much as I ought to have today, though I have been pretty busy all day bar an hour and a half meeting friends for a late lunch. I'm rather torn as to what to do next. 1) Create room in sitting room for the new computer desk (and this would mean the dining room would be a lot emptier and we need it for Sunday) or 2) help dd to sort out her room ready for the bunk beds being dismantled and the new bed being brought in from the spare bedroom. Actually, we might put the 2nd PC in the spare bedroom, though we'd have to proof it against visitors using it and that might be hard. Oh, decisions, decisions!

Hi luda. I need to e-mail you, too. Please remind me if I forget. Glad your trip went well. I used to work there once upon a time. It's a nice place. Sorry to hear about the extra washing. Car seats are a bit of a faff, I found, and they'd appear much more worn after being in the w/m. Perhaps putting them in with soft things like towels or sheets would protect them from the rough and tumble a bit? It's a bit late for me to think of that, given the ages of my two!

Ivor I too can't touch the wine until the kids are in bed...then I can relax!
I have put the fabric bit just on its own...on a 30o wash...It is already looking worn...the sun has faded it in places too...still not too much longer before she can upgrade!
I'll remind you to email, next friday sounds fine
Have a good weekend, it sounds like you have a lot of moving bits around to do!
