A feeble Good morning from me

As I thought I do have a tummy bug and have spent the night with s & d Feel slightly better this morning but have an awful headache and face-ache (sinus pain I expect) Dh is being v good and doing the school runs for me and hopes to be able to finish work at 3pm so he can be at home with the lo's if I need him. I hope to feel more up to things by then but we'll see....
No FLYing for me today - a day in bed/on the sofa/on MN is all I'm up to....

grouchy just read the end of yesterdays thread...I have one of those recipe collections...I have an A4 ring binder...which is getting fuller and fuller! I have just started to type them all up on the comp. as I have recipes written on the back of envelopes etc, and it is getting confusing! So I have started to type them all out ready to print off and put neatly into my folder again (I know...too much time on my hands clearly!!!)

Right well, I have been busy already this morning:
~D/W done
~W/M 1 load in
~One load hanging on rads done
~Lit fire done
~Collect clothes up for washing done
~Make beds done
~Tidy kitchen done

I have a toddler group this am, then I have to go to town to bank some cheques and run some errands for dh.
I have to also find a Welsh Traditional Costume for my ds for St David's Day...

To do :
~Hoover
~More washing
~Clean hamster out (poor thing I keep putting it off!)

Shouldbe , hope you feel better soon - enjoy a nice easy day and have fun MN'ing . Mine was just a 24 hour thing hopefully as I feel a good bit better today.
Must have looked awful yesterday though, my mum called in to see us and then cleaned kitchen floor for me and did all the dinner dishes so I could sit with cup of tea and have a rest.

Today's list (need to get off PC and start into it asap )

• kitchen surfaces, hob and table
• unload dishwasher, reload
• recycling (can't believe how many of those big plastic milk cartons we get through, four empty ones ready to go out this morning, lol)
• bathrooms
• will do the mission, sounds ok today
• dust and vacuum (didn't do yesterday)
• go to B&Q
• pop into Sainsbury's for something to cook for tonight's dinner
• possibly go to gym this morning if time (and creche free) or do exercise dvd
• take ds2 to swimming lesson after school

BTW, dh took the lemon drizzle cake into work and everyone said it was really scrummy, will have to make again soon (and the flapjacks )

DD's have contact later so i hope to get all that washing put away! Will have around 2 and half hours to do it in once ive walked them up there!

Hello again.

Looking at the computer screen made my headache worse so I went back to bed - have woken up feeling a little better so had a bath and feel bright enough to be able to be downstairs with ds watching dvds until dh can get off work at 3...
I'm rubbish at being ill - it's sooo boring! Always think I'd love an excuse to sit and do nothing but reality is that is just plain dull

I'm new to this thread too! I like it!
So today i have done dw, wm, pack lunches, despatched kids to school, all the usual things for a Thursday. Best bit about Thursday my dh always tells me the bin men are coming up the street and I always tell him not to teach me to suck eggs!!

Had to buy a baby boy present and I am bored with always buying clothes so I searched the shops for 2 hours and ended up in mothercare anyway!

Don't know what to do for dinner - dh on a diet - any ideas?

well I'm feeling better than I did yesterday and I had all intentions of going shopping with dd this morning and doing some housework while she napped this afternoon.....however, we have spent all morning in A&E as she had a fall and took the brunt of it on her little wrist.

She was still using the hand but would not put any pressure on the wrist and when she did she would wimper and then start crying bless her, no doctor could get anywhere near her to examine it and she wouldn't let it be x-rayed either so we have to monitor it, dh was a bit of a git (not to dd I should add) was quite off with me even tho I told him I would get the bus to A&E, shite shite day but dd is napping now and does seem better.

Houswork may get done later this afternoon as the electrician is in and out of the lounge and making bloody holes all over the wall

Have got nowhere with my list today, the only done items so far are tidying the kitchen. Did manage to straighten up dd's room, it always seems to be untidy as she likes to dress up/change her outfits but seems unable to fold or put anything away!

Have done my Davina DVD though so feeling ok. How's the diet going, tort? I'm struggling a bit so going back to WW tonight.
