Kitchen Hand Towels?

I'm on the hunt for kitchen hand towels. I was given my last set of four for my wedding 15 years ago, and I'm down to my last one!

They're smaller than usual hand towels (my current last one measures 60x35) and are proper towelling rather than tea towel fabric (either waffle, linen or microfibre). They also usually are multi coloured, have cooking motifs etc on them rather than being plain.

Dunelm, John Lewis have come up blank, and I really need proper towelling for my hands or I end up with dry cracked hands. Anyone help?

If you search for guest towels, they should be the right size. I like the look of the John Lewis spirit towels that come in several multi coloured stripes. I especially like the fact they don't have that annoying flat woven band that most towels have near the shorter edge.

Try TK Maxx/Homesense.

I have the same problem as you alchemist77 with dry sore hands. I got my tea towels from Wilko years ago and they are fab. They are plain and more like like terry towelling than standard tea towels and have lasted well. Wilko no longer do the ones I have but the web address below shows ones that apprear to be very similar texture wise. A review says they are like hand towels.
